I was travelling for work. The property has a great view from it and is well located for the centre, being only a short 5- or 6-minute drive. Parts of it are a little dated, but this is reflected in a great value-for-money proposition. As I was travelling for work, ultimately it was a quick stay and worked well under those circumstances. Quirky, but in a really good way.

Great Lake views. Bed very comfortable.
Keypad hard to find in daylight. Eventually found it. Shower in bath - hard for 83 year old to climb in very high bath but OK for one night.

Clean, cozy and comfortable with a large bathroom. Quick drive down to Taupo town centre. Nice view. Easy to follow instructions from the owner.
It was all good.
