We love this off the beaten track hotel - it's an older property but quintessentially Italian, surrounded by endless views and serenity. Do not expect high end hotel amenities but enjoy its rustic charm as well as the warm welcome of Mother and Son who run it, together with a restaurant in the village a 10 min walk away.

Our stay at Relais Santa Cristina was amazing. We stayed for 3 nights, and I wish we stayed for longer! The town of Radda in Chianti is beautiful, the property is too and it is surrounded by vineyards and unbelievable views.
The accommodation was.. yes, rustic/ a little dated but that is what you want when you’re in the Tuscan countryside! It was all a part of the experience! Breakfast was delicious and included everything you could need, eggs, prosciutto, cheese, yogurts, fresh pastries, fruits, juices etc. The pool was huge and had an amazing view.
If you want 5 star commercialized luxury then maybe go somewhere else, but if you want a memorable, authentic & BEAUTIFUL Italian countryside stay with the kindest host, then stay here!!!

Property is a little tired. Obviously the hotel was not geared up to receive guests at the time of our visit.
Breakfast was adequate.
Pool was closed. Patio areas were unswept. Room flooded as shower drain was not adequately working.
