First time Hania visitors

Lovely welcoming and hospitality. Spacious room. Excellent value for money. Wonderful start for a road trip holiday. Loved the morning swims. Parking was available (and Google maps directions worked well to the location). For us the accommodation was within walking distance from the city centre. Also bus connections would work. Quiet location.

I would not recommend this accommodation. Go for a meal and watch the sunset, but that’s it.

Restaurant overlooking the water was lovely and the food was nice. The hosts were very nice and welcoming

The beds were so uncomfortable. There were wires coming out of the wall. The light shade was broken away from the ceiling and every time you went past it you hit your head. The shower had no stand so you had to hold it with one hand. There was an odour as you walked in that was not pleasant.There was no receptionist and total disorder as you walked in to the foyer. I have never given a bad review before, we did not pay a lot of money for this accommodation, but it was not good…

Great location for Chania but the accommodation needs refurbishing and updating.

The location was great with easy access to the beaches and Chania town. There was parking available next to the property.

We didn’t initially have the room we booked. We were put in a much smaller room without the listed facilities and it wasn’t very clean, the balcony was tiny with broken furniture - unusable. We were moved after 8 hours to the room we initially booked. The whole place needs a refurbishment and general clean up. There was a lot of rubbish in and around the building.

Great position, not too close to the centre so it's nice and peaceful. The beach was an added bonus. Sunbeds were included. Great view from our room.

The room had a retro feeling which I really liked and our balcony had sea view so we could enjoy the sunset every night. The sea is like 2 steps away from the accommmodation and place has a lovely taverna with excellent seafood. We ate there twice and it was wonderful to sit next to the sea listen to the wave and enjoy dinner. The people there (whom I assume are the owners) were wonderful they greeted us and checked if everything is okay they made it feel like homely. I would definitely go back even if it is just to greet them and have dinner there. Thank you for everything, we spent a really great week there.

Location is perfect. Owner is perfect.

Can you imagine that owner of the apartment were waiting for us till 4am in the morning to give us key. And not just key. He was waiting us with cold bottle of wine, cold bottle of water and cold watermelone. This was first impression. Perfect!! Then we woke up in the morning, sea and sounds of waves were magnificent. Sea and the beach are two steps from appartment. Food in the taverna in front is amazing. The service, smiles and kidnes make us feel that have visited our relatives who lives on Crete. Thank you very much for your hospitality and for sure we will come again. Hope very soon!

A great location close to all the amentities.

We have stayed here previously and keep coming back because of the location and easy parking. Situated at the end of Neo Chora where there are plenty of good eateries but at the same time it's short walk to Chania old town. It is also close to a number of beaches.

The matteresses have seen better days and are not very confortable. Kitchen area is also very dated and small.

The BEST Chania has to offer!!!

Do not doubt to book this place for a guaranteed amazing time!! Natalia and the whole team made us feel like part of the family, they were beyond helpful and kind. Below the apartments they have the best fish tavern in Chania (trust me, we were there a whole week) with the loveliest view and the greatest waiter, Bob, with whom we shared many laughs, tips, and became a friend. Did I mentioned they welcomed us with wine and a fruit bowl?? and when we left we got a little gift and cake!? I cannot praise them enough. Sure the building needs an update, but who cares! The apartment is spacious and gets cleaned every day. If you want to experience the best Cretan hospitality, look no further.

All exceeded our expectations, can’t wait to come back.

A great location to explore Chania.

We have stayed here several times previously as the location is great for Chania and there is a good sized free car park next door. It's also right on the beach. With this visit we received a complimentary carafe of wine, a small bottle of raki and a large dessert which I thought was a very nice touch.

Fantastic position but internal conditions very disappointing

Position of the apartments is excellent, overlooking sea, easy walk 15 minute to the harbour and old town, right by a beach. Good balcony to sit on to enjoy the view. Good lively taverna downstairs.

Room was very small but adequate. The room was in need of considerable refurbishment, particularly the electrical wiring. The two years of the pandemic had clearly affected the business.

Location was good, a short walk along the beach/promenade to the old town. In need of renovation.

The location of the property was good. The cafe/restaurant was right on the beach. Free parking was available next to property.

The building was in need of renovation. The room did not have hot water so I could not wash my hair. No provision of a hairdryer. The electrics were questionable as the plug socket by the bed was loose exposing wires. I was cold at night as there was only a sheet provided. The fixtures and fittings were old and the mattress soiled.

What a location!!

The location was absolutely perfect. Beautiful view of the sea from the balcony, the hotel is basically on the beach, with both a place to eat and to drink cocktails whilst looking at the sunset. In 20mins walk you are in the town centre. Location was perfect and it's the strenght of this place !

The entrance of the hotel (reception) was dorty and smelly. I would recommend them to clean it up, as it does give away a bad impression. The bed pillow weren't very comfortable, would suggest to provide different option to people, as we npth got a very bad neck pain.

A little bit neglect but its position is perfect

It was a good hotel once, with huge balconies and sea view. It is clean and safe still and its position is perfect, easy to find, near the sea – just on the beach. The old town is reachable on foot in 15-20 minutes.

Now it is slightly unkept, some equipment is old and a little bit broken (but works), the batteries of the remote control are discharged, there is no any curtain on the window in the bathroom. But the worst thing was the smell of fried fish and burned fat that was going inside each evening untill the night (we lived in the first floor above the restaurant kitchen).

Great potential

The small apartment has great potential. It is very luminous, and the big door opening on the balcony overlooking Paralia Nea Chora beach is amazing. The location in Selinou is also excellent. You are walking distance from bus terminal, Chania old town and the best beaches in town. More importantly, there are excellent bakeries and groceries stores on your way to the KTEL bus station. The studio flat is above a very popular restaurant with locals, owned by the landlord. Many more restaurants, along Nea Chora beach, are just 5 minutes walking from the studio. With a couple of adjustments to the room, this low budget accommodation could be rated 10+.

The fridge was not very powerful, the wi-fi was not safe and the corridor leading to the entrance of the studio was very dark at night.

The location was good, just a 20min walk into Chania and plenty of restaurants along the way. Free safe in the room, air con. Friendly owners.

The kitchenette wasn't well equipped, we ended up buying our own wine glasses. A few more utensils would have been useful. The fridge door didn't shut properly. The beds were hard. Also the patio door didn't lock but we felt pretty safe.

La vue était vraiment belle.

Le logement était terriblement vétuste, comportait le minimum d'équipement, l'état de la salle de bain laissait à désirer. Les hôtes nous ont remis les clés et nous n'avons plus vu personne du séjour. Le logement nécessite un bon raffraichissement et pas mal d'amélioration. Ha et encore, aucun ménage n'a été fait durant les quasi 4 jours de notre séjour.

het appartement was echt wel gedateerd, en de douche is heel erg klein, maar het uitzicht vanuit het doucheraam maakte veel goed.

Schmutzig, klebrig und Mückenverseucht.

Das schlimmste Appartment seit Jahren. Dreckig, alle Oberflächen kleben, Meerblick durch Bäume nur teilweise vorhanden. Die Ausstattung stammte aus einer anderen Zeit. Die Dusche hatte eine alte Sitzbadewanne die kleiner war als eine normale Dusche. Auf die Toilette konnte man sich nur seitlich setzen. Die Balkontür konnte man nicht lange öffnen, sonst hatte man unzählige Mücken im Zimmer. Nebenan ist ein Tümpel. Dagegen steckte ein Mückenstecker (leer) in der Steckdose. Hat nichts gebracht. Aber am schlimmsten war, dass man sich die Hände waschen musste, wenn man irgendwas (z.B. die klebrige Fernbedienung) angefasst hat. Wer mehr wissen möchte einfach mal bei google die Bewertungen durchgehen.
