Given that the reception times were 10am to 10pm we took a taxi from Zaragoza Airport as the plane was delayed by one hour. We got there at 22.10 and were so glad that the lady on reception stayed for a few extra minutes to hand over our key. Exceptional service.

Generally we were happy with the facilities, basic but clean and comfortable.

Excellent location. Close to the old city and river. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. And the flat was well equipped.

Honestly, I don't speak or understand Spanish. I have traveled extensively in all corners of Spain for the last 17 years using hotels/ accommodation mostly through Booking. This was the first time the first person I met at the hotel didn't speak a word in English, and insisted, when I entered through the hotel-door to have my passport. I a was unable to explain to him that the passport was in the car parked at some distance, and I was there to get his advise on where to park. This was after 6 hours drive from Bordeaux in a very hot weather. In the end I got the directions to a good parking, but when my wife asked him about nearest convenience shopping, that answer was that on Sunday afternoon all shops, except "Chinese" were closed in Spain, which was absolutely incorrect, as in 1100 m distance Carrefour Express was open and had all we needed. Yes, my recommendation is, if you are not sufficiently capable in Spanish, stay away from this property, you might not be able to enjoy your stay in this, I believe interesting city. There was no instruction on how to return the room key. The reception was closed at dawn.
