Huge resort with no personality or charm.

People were reserving sunbeds at 5 am in the morning, as if it would cost their life if they didn’t do it. Breakfast buffet felt like being in a train station, echoes, mio of people, loud noises, parents who could not control their kids. Coffee was bitter. Restaurants prices were crazy expensive compared to portions, I don’t mind paying 16.000 tbh for a meal for 4 adults and 2 kids, but at least make sure the portions are ok and we don’t have to leave starving. And be prepared for Russians who will take the entire buffet with them to the beach, because it’s “free”

Great vacation - best massage around the hotel

Beach had many restuarants and great massage next to it. Many good resturants in the hotel. The beach was great. We preferred the beach much more than the pool. The gym is big and nice. The room was very nice, but need some renovation (espcially the shower). The cleaning lady was great!! You can use surf boards which is nice. There is a great bar with billiard game.

First, the check in process was not nice! the receptionist was rude and I asked to be serviced by another one. No really a typical Thai service. The pool was big and long but there was no something enjoyable with it. The fact that the big Lizards sometimes jump in and swim with you is not comfortable! My wife got a food poisining in the Japanese resturant - the food was delicious thoug :-) but the staff checked how she feels every time we were in breakfast or dinner. They charged us for the nurse visit but ok... Feel free to pass on the Buffalo Bathing activity....

Overall, we had a good stay, and with a few improvements, it could be truly exceptional.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The views are amazing, and the amenities throughout the property are top-notch. Quan Spa was fantastic, offering a relaxing and high-quality experience, and the restaurant—especially Olive—served excellent food we thoroughly enjoyed. Also spotted Charly the monitoring lizard and the occasional coconut boat! The rooms are clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The gym is superb, and the beach facilities—including the sunscreen, towel service, and water—were a great touch.

Our room was located next to an employee/service road, which made it quite noisy at times. Additionally, the TV unexpectedly fell off the wall, which was surprising and a bit concerning. Fortunately, we were treated exceptionally well by the Manager, Ms. Srirajun, whose hospitality made a real difference.

Amazing stay.

We had an incredible stay. Everything was thoughtfully designed, from the spacious, beautifully decorated rooms to the perfectly maintained grounds. The atmosphere feels calm and luxurious, and you can immediately tell how much attention is given to every detail. The resort’s pools are cool and the beach bar is nice too!

It was below my expectations.

Many types of food for breakfast

The hotel is a little bit old. The game tables of The Deli coffee area are quite cheap, none of design. The Wi-Fi often stopped working. The small mirror in the bathroom made me feel really dizzy — I just could not stand it. On top of that, the overhead lighting made doing makeup very uncomfortable and difficult. The lighting design clearly did not take into consideration the needs of guests who need to do their makeup. Overall, it was a really disappointing experience regarding the light and the small mirror.

Room, pool, breakfast, beach, restaurants, all of that vas very nice. Staff and service was nice and friendly and help with buggy transport to and from wherever needed was very helpful. We enjoyed our time at your hotel very much. Thank you.

We didn’t like distance from the airport. It was hard to endure after long overseas flights, therefore the position of the hotel is the only glitch.

High quality, 5 star resort, great for families with great pools, great beach and great staff.

The rooms are very spacious and well equipped, with a feeling of luxury. The breakfast is amazing with plenty of choices and available until 11:00, for those who want to sleep after late night out. The pools around hotel are beautiful, plenty of options for kids and off course a gorgeous beach. There is nice play room and decent gym. The location is a bit remote, but perfect for families or people seeking quiet retreat and the hotel offers so much that you don’t want to go anywhere else, just relax and enjoy.

There are 4 restaurants. We have been at two of them. They don’t provide value for money. Nice food, but expensive. For their prices I would expect exceptional. Before the checkout, we called to ask for help with luggage, scheduling the time. Nobody came and after some waiting, we just carried it ourselves. You wouldn’t expect such a thing in a 5 star hotel in Thailand, but we assumed it was a one time miss understanding. Overall this is high quality 5 star resort.

Memorable stay!

Direct beach access with sun loungers and a beach bar. An impressive breakfast buffet featuring fresh products, some sourced from the hotel’s own garden. A lagoon-style pool meanders throughout the resort, enhancing the relaxed atmosphere. All in all a wonderful stay. We highly recommend it.

One small drawback was that the air conditioning automatically adjusted to 23 degrees, while we would have liked the option to set it manually to our preferred 26 degrees.

One of the Best experiences

Everything was amazing, from the amenities to the activities and the food options at breakfast. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The best hotel in Thailand for service, facilities, location. 6 star!

I had breakfast at the Waterfront restaurant for the duration of my stay and it was first class service. Khun Pooh helped me feel very comfortable whilst traveling alone to the resort, all the staff knew my name and showed me around the buffet and the food was so fresh and locally grown so the vegetables had extra taste and there were many healthy options available, the fresh juices were equisite.

The fact i had to leave. I had a great rest and the huge swimming pool had something for everyone.

Wonderful Environment, Great Beach

They have a really beautiful environment. It's spread out so you get to do a lot of walking (which we liked). There are rows of chairs along the beach. If you don't care about laying right in the first row, then it's all good. The beach and ocean are lovely. The staff are all super friendly and many are helpful, too. It's great that they separate families/small children in different areas. I even saw some staff enforcing these rules, which was wonderful. Just outside the resort to the south are friendly and low-cost convenience store, massage, restaurant and bars! The resort has many facilities, including a really good fitness. It's pricey at $200+/night but a nice stay.

Check in was really disappointing experience. They asked us to go to the beach and then Madhu and Maria forgot to inform us that our room was ready for 2-3 hours despite having our phone number and email. And when we pointed this out, no one even apologized (Maria was the last person we spoke with about it). Service at the bars was slow- I think they are understaffed. Many families bring their small children into the beach bar and let them run around- not sure what the staff can do about this but it's very annoying

Fantastic resort, highly recommend

Incredible resort for kids. The lagoon swimming pool is huge and a great feature. Great choice of excellent food. The rooms are beautifully designed and spacious. The staff go out of their way to help you.

We paid for full board but this did not include any drinks, not even soft drinks for the kids. You are given a different ‘package’ menu to everyone else and have to present a piece of paper for stamping at every meal. This is really silly in a water based hotel where you swim everywhere! It should be electronic. We also felt we were treated like 2nd class guests at times with the package menu. It was also not clear the theme night buffets were included when we checked in. We actively avoided them only to find out on our last day that they were included. This was very annoying.

Excellent breakfast with lots of choice! Comfy furniture, nice very long swimmingpool, good restaurants with regular special events. After they changed our shower filter the softness of the water was wonderful. Good SPA with the great atmosphere.

The kettle was not properly cleaned. Not enough closet space for the clothes. A kind of dirty road between the hotel and the beach, creating lots of dust. Diving shop not open every day. No nice snorkeling.

Wonderful!

It is beautiful and has many different pools to swim in. The rooms are very nice and have plenty of space. The staff were so friendly, helpful and accomodating. Excellent service! Also lots of activities organised by the hotel so plenty to do. The food at all the restaurants is also amazing. Can’t say a bad word about the place :)

Superb stay !!

What an amazing resort, it’s a resort so self sufficient that one can spend 5-6 days without the need to step out, there are activities for all age groups, the pools are huge, the beach clean and they have enough gear for the the beach and sea right from surf boards to kayaks and for kids too. They have a huge farm with animals one can cycle around or kayak in the lagoon around the farm, the food is excelllent with multiple restaurants so u are spilt for choice, all in all it’s your go to resort in Khao Lak
