Traditional hotel (since 1860 or so) in a great location between Gotic and Born, right next to the metro station Jaume I. Even better: right next to a wonderful traditional bakery. Very helpful and friendly staff. Great breakfast in a great location, first floor with view to the square. If they wouldn't kick you out at 10:30 you could spend a half day there just watching city life.
The size of the rooms is much smaller than it seems on the fotos, and also smaller than in the descriptions. I booked a room with "16 m²", and we first got one with probably 10 m², when we asked for a larger the very friendly staff provided a room of about 12, maybe 14 m². The floor plans show that most rooms are very small. Also, hot water is restricted to daytime - both at night and in the early morning, the water is cold.
