This is a cosy hotel in the shadow of Charles Bridge. My single room on floor 1 was clean and well equipped and had a view of the canal. Although reception is staffed 7am-7pm the entry process outside those hours worked well - I checked in at the time reception was available. Breakfast was good, although I probably would have liked coffee facilities in the room - coffee is available at the restaurant during a set timeframe.
I booked the hotel to enable me to experience/take pictures of Charles Bridge when it is not that busy - early morning and it was perfect for easy access to the bridge at 4:50 am and returning for breakfast later in the morning.

It's my second stay in this hotel. First time I stayed on 3rd floor. No issues. Now in 1st -room 5. Some noise during the day and night. I asked to change the room but I couldn't. Location is very good. Breakfast is ok. But staff (man in his 50th) in reception kind of soviet style approach. Avoid rm 5 on 1st floor. Try to check in till 7pm

The location is unbeatable, right off at the end of Charles bridge. 10 mins walk to the Prague castle.
Overall, the hotel is of a good value.
However, be aware if you check out after 10 am (their official check out time is by 11am). They will lock you out. You need to go to the front and get a new key. The manager said it was set automatically like that, which should have been communicated with the guests.
Again for the location, it could be one of the best; yet for the staff, I’d give 2 out of 5.
