Impressive hotel right in the centre of charming Rothenburg on der Tauber, just a minute’s walk from Marktplatz. Warm, friendly and attentive hosts. Our room was spacious, the bed very comfortable, with delightful feather pillows. For our 24 hr stay we parked conveniently right opposite the hotel, next to Herrnbrunnen fountain. Don’t miss the lovely breakfast. We loved our stay at Hotel Gotisches Haus, and Axel’s Bavarian hospitality.

Nice location, lovely historical room, large, lovely bathroom.
Unfortunately due to 37c heat and lack of air conditioning or fans we struggled to sleep. We asked for a fan but were told we were not in the warmest rooms and the south facing rooms had the fans. We were still too hot and uncomfortable though.
