Nice location to explore Venice

Nice location,close to bus stop and railway station. City of Venice is only a 20' ride with buses running regularly. Room was tidy and clean, bed and bathroom in great condition. Breakfast was included and was very good, indeed. Julia in the reception desk assisted in everything needed and answered all requests. Would stay again

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Vienna. The location was ideal, comfy room. Great stay for a price.

Breakfast was good but just a few options. The room was a bit small but comfortable & I liked the crisp sheets and clean towels. The location was good, quiet and close to the bus and train station.

The only thing I didn't like was the small elevator and there's no daily supply of water bottles.

perfect location if one wants to visit not only Venice (bus stop is a 4-minute walk from the hotel) but also other locations like Verona or Padova by train. Nice rooms, good restaurant. Perfect staff, very helpful on any question, even suggested a scale to weigh my luggage before departure. good value for its money.

the bathroom door handle was broken but we had no time to ask to repair. the toilet is installed weirdly and it makes it difficult to use it - no space for legs left

Older hotel, maintenance to be done, shower in our room did not have a hose - shower head attached to the wall. The room was quite small.

I won’t stay there again.

I’m sorry to say that but even though I had a reservation I almost didn’t have a room as the manager wanted to cancel it due to a misunderstanding about parking. The neighborhood allows to believe that the area is not safe as per another guest as well.

No parking, even though I reserved one spot in writing, but got no reply and at the reception when I was upset about it the manager wanted to cancel my booking. I didn’t want to stay at the hotel because it seemed that the manager made up her mind that she’ll cancel my booking, but the cancellation fee was the full price of the room. I couldn’t find another hotel near by at that hour so I compromised and begged the manager to give me a room. This was an unpleasant experience unfortunately and won’t stay there again. The Vienna city name is miss leading. Vienna is beautiful but Hotel Vienna has nothing to do with the real Vienna.

Excellent value for money!

We stayed here for five days and I can say that we had an experience beyond expectations. The hotel is located very close to Venice Mestre train station and you can easily reach the island or other nearby tourist destinations - Padua, Verona, Trieste. Although relatively small, the room was quiet, warm and pleasant. The bathroom was clean and well equipped (there was also a soap holder in the shower cabin, a common problem in most hotels). Cleaning is done daily and towels are also changed. Breakfast is a Swedish buffet and you can choose between different types of prosciutto, salami, cheese, yogurt, eggs or with Italian specialties (croissant). The coffee is very good, espresso, cappuccino or filter. We received two bottles of still water in the room daily. The hotel restaurant can also offer you some menus and drinks at good prices. We didn't eat there because we usually came back late in the evening from the various tiring trips. The staff is always friendly and helpful in any problem you encounter. After check-out, we were able to leave our luggage for a few more hours at no additional cost. We highly recommend this hotel and would happily return there anytime!

A little gem, this hotel was clean, the room (although small) was comfortable, new bed, the bathroom modern, aircon worked very well, the breakfast superb. But it was the staff who really made the stay exception (big thanks to Monica, on reception).

Disappointing

Me and my family (2 adults + 2 small children) were planning to spend a night in Venice on our way to the Adriatic coast and in the meantime do some sightseeing. We have chosen Hotel Vienna due to its proximity to the train station and positive opinions in the Internet. Unfortunately the conditions we met inside turned out to be unacceptable. Our room had a very nasty smell of chemical cleaners, causing headache that lasted for several hours. We told the receptionist that we are not going to spend our night there and as a result we have been offered two other rooms - both had the same smell, were stuffy and made our kids cry and eager to escape. I went to the receptionist to communicate that we want to leave the hotel and asked for at least a partial reimbursement (given that we spent approx. 0.5 h in the room, used the toilet and water). We wanted to be fair with the hotel, unfortunately hotel did not want to be fair with us and was not open to any discussions. I do not want to share my opinion about the location, equipment or meals, I just wanted to point out that offering unacceptable conditions inside a room and pretending that everything is all right certainly does not make this hotel a guest-friendly location.

Hotel Staff was super. Breakfast was very good with nice variety. Parking was available on the street, in a lot, or alongside the hotel. Bar prices were very nice and lobby had ample seating for relaxing. Trains to Venice just a 10 minute walk, busses just a 5 minute walk.

Rooms were a bit tight, but met the needs.

Completley satisfied with my staying

The hotel is very close to the train station. The rooms were spotless and comfortable and the the staff was really friendly and polite. I feel more than satisfied by the whole experince, and I would definately recomannd it if you are looking for something affordable and close to Venice.

The breakfast was ok, but there were not so many healthy options there. I would have appreciated if they would have offered some vegetables as well, but this is just a personal preference.
