Peaceful and quirky. Pauline was brilliant. Loved the cozy bed. Trains was not an issue. Was very Peaceful. Shame we hadn't had the rain. Lake was a bit dry

The hut was welcoming and well presented, compact but contained everything you needed for a short stay. It was spotlessly clean with all the basics in place, like loo roll, towels and washing up liquid.
The site was a nice spot and even though it is on the premises of the owner you still had privacy and could just get on.
Plenty of wildlife to watch all around, beautiful birds, a friendly cat and even a baby deer one sunny afternoon.
Honestly nothing we didn't like. The only thing missing is somewhere to hang clothes but there is plenty of storage for them. Not really something we didn't like.

Very basic, no milk sachets to make tea / coffee. No hand towel.
