Brilliant location close to the Pompeii Scavi train station and site entrance of Porta Marina, but just out of the way enough to be quiet. Really comfortable room and great facilities, including luggage storage options. Communication with the owner was great, he didn't speak much English but used a translator app to help make conversation easier, and he was so helpful and happy to be flexible with our timings. He set up a breakfast for us in the morning, which had lots of options such as yoghurt, cereal, pastries, etc.

I am a repeat customer because I love the location near Porto Marina entrance to Pompeii, clever design of the rooms, and the attention that I receive from the very kind hosts. A great value for a solo, senior traveler. Thank you

Great location to see the ruins. Lovely host who gave clear instructions with a google translator. Very clean
Pre-packaged breakfast was a bit disappointing. But the strange thing was how the room smelled. It wasn’t a dirty smell but more like moth balls or a very cloying smell they may have used to clean. It was overpowering even after opening the windows and affected my sleep. I didn’t notice any other reviews about this so maybe I’m over sensitive but it created a disappointing stay.

Location was nice, owner was somehow helpful and kind when receiving us.
The room was cold and the heater didn’t work. The toilet was not flashing out properly, and sometimes you had to wait ~1 hour to flash twice.
Also I couldn’t pay with credit card because it was broken and I ended up paying 9 euro more (paper receipt said 91 but I paid 100 and I was promised the change the day after but the owner didn’t show up).
Finally, many steep stairs in case you’re with a stroller.
