About this villa rental

Villa Vittoria is framed by mountains, located in an exceptional panoramic position overlooking the bay of Palermo. It is located a short distance from the small town of Lascari, where you can find basic necessities, and the animated town of Cefalù with beach facilities, seafront, numerous clubs and shops. The villa is an island of relaxation in the midst of Mediterranean vegetation and rocky mountains, making this holiday home a special retreat where you can relax in all tranquillity and discover a side of the authentic western Sicily of undisputed beauty, such as the hill villages of the Madonie. The villa, fully air-conditioned and furnished in neutral tones, is comfortable, modern and bright. The layout of the house makes it perfect for families as two bedrooms on the upper floor and two on the lower floor are separated by the middle floor designated as the living area. The splendid swimming pool is the most beautiful spot from where to admire the infinite landscape framed by the majestic mountains. The numerous outdoor areas, including terraces, garden, lawn and barbecue, will allow for a pleasant fluidity between interior and exterior for adults and children. In the Park of the Madonie you can take long walks accompanied by specialised guides. The capital, Palermo, is just over an hour's drive away where you can admire its many wonders, such as the famous A'Vucciria market

VILLA VITTORIA HAS BEEN SUBJECTED TO A CHECK-UP BY A TECHNICAL RESPONSIBLE BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF THE SEASON, TO ENSURE CONSISTENCY OF THE DESCRIPTION, ACCESSORIES LISTED ON THIS PAGE AND THEIR PRESENT STATE OF OPERATION/MAINTENANCE, TO GUARANTEE QUALITY, CLEANLINESS AND COMFORTS TO ALL CLIENTS WHO WILL STAY HERE.

Interior:
The villa has three floors connected by an internal staircase. The main entrance opens into the spacious open-plan living area on the intermediate floor (with stairs to the upper floor and to the lower floor) which leads to a large living room with dining table and brightly-lit sitting area, thanks to the double glazing, with sofas and satellite TV; to the right is the kitchen and an informal dining table with direct access out to the terrace used for outdoor meals and to a lounge area.On the lower floor is a double bedroom with private bathroom with shower and direct access out to the garden and pool area and a twin room (with joinable beds). The upper floor consists of a double bedroom and a twin bedroom (with joinable beds), one with private terrace, sharing a spacious bathroom with separate tub and shower.

Park:
The villa is set on a terrace cradled among the Madonie mountains with the view stretching to the sea where the sun sets. The park has been left in its original state, mostly cultivated with olive trees with the typical terraces defined by dry stone walls. Near the swimming pool, the local stone and dry-stone walls have been used to embed a stone seat by the pool, while close by are the outdoor shower and the fixed barbecue. Around the house, the luxuriant olive grove gives way to a tidy lawn, bordered by shrubs, flowers and palm trees. For the paving around the pool, stone tiles and light gravel were chosen. The terrace on the intermediate floor, accessible directly from the living area and from the kitchen, contains a dining area and a relaxation area under a canopy. On the upper floor, one of the two twin bedrooms has a private terrace – perfect for greeting the sun in the morning. A parking area for three cars is located in a secluded space inside the automatic entrance gate of the property.
Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Swimming Pool:
The north-facing swimming pool lies on the lower terrace of the garden on an open and panoramic belvedere. It is about 10 m from the villa and can be reached down a flight of 13 steps, while from the bedroom on the lower floor access is direct and level. The rectangular pool, measuring 6 x 12 m with the depth varying from 1 to 1.70 m, is lined in PVC and has chlorine purification and internal and external lighting (allowing it to be used at night as well), and submerged steps in one corner. The surrounding stone-surfaced sunbathing area is equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas, while embedded in the rock is a stone seat creating a relaxation corner. A few steps away is the solar shower and a stone structure with barbecue. The pool is available from May 1st to October 31st.

Villa Vittoria was beautiful and Stefano was a wonderful host. He was responsive and patient with us. The villa had everything we needed and was very clean with a breathtaking view of the mountains and the sea. It is upsetting that the original villa we booked was not available. I found out the day I was leaving that there were electrical problems and this was the only villa availble. I had done extensive research picking that exact villa due to its location, size and style. While Villa Vittoria was beautiful, it was not the style or location we were looking for.

We are just back from a week's holiday in Villa Vittoria, near Cefalu. The villa itself is lovely and modern, with big panoramic windows overlooking the mountains and down to the sea. The communal area is very spacious and the eight of us were very comfortable spending most of our time there. 4 good size double bedrooms, one with a balcony and one opening up on the pool level. Being early April, the weather was a little temperamental. The pool is not heated, so only my kids were brave enough to go in. However, there were lots of sunbathing spots to choose from and we found quite a few occasions to relax in the warm sun (the front of the villa is sheltered from wind and even in early April the sun could feel very hot). The road to the villa goes up a large hill at Lasceri. However, after driving it once we found we were pretty confident and there was very little other traffic. You could not stay in the villa without a car as you could not walk or get taxis to the local amenities. The ARD supermarket is only 5 mins away, but not walkable. The drive is about 10-15 minutes to Cefalu. Very easy, straight road most of the way and parking there was also very straightforward. We loved Cefalu - really lovely seaside town, with lots of nice restaurants. It has a good feel to it. We visited some other very beautiful destinations (eg Castlebuono, Termini, Noto in the South) and Cefalu was our favourite - vibrant, but friendly. Angelo our host was fantastically helpful. He welcomed us at the villa with lots of great information about the villa and the area, including booking our first meal out - at Le Chat Noir in Cefalu, which was the best meal out we had there (great quality food and good value). He also arranged for (and supported) Chef Nino to come and cook us a meal in the villa one night, for my father's birthday. This was the absolute highlight of our holiday and an experience I would absolutely recommend. Nino's menu was absolutely delicious, with lots of lovely extra touches. Angelo also sourced an amazing birthday cake for the end of the meal! All in all, we felt he went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and comfortable. Having won the villa in a charity auction, I wasn't sure what to expect. However, despite that Massimo Villas had donated our holiday to the charity, it did not stop them from working hard to ensure we had the perfect stay. Thank you for your amazing hospitality- we are likely to use your villas again!

Great place to be! General cleanness could be better, but overall a comfortable house with much space, modern interiour and a stunning view across the coast.

It was such a nice time but honestly we were shocked that there was no A/C in the kitchen and living room area. Actually the view from living room was fantastic but as it was really hot, we had no chance to sit down on the sofa to see this view!! By the way, we asked a baby-sitting, they were really kind and kids were so happy! Thanks.
