Casa René - Charming apartments

A hidden jewel, so convenient to visit Lisbon, the short passenger ferry crossing was fun and took you to a central location to explore the city. Lots of hills so you need to be fit and probably better to visit when not 40 degrees. However the pool in the apartment was perfect to cool off. 2 bedrooms each with own bathroom, good lounge area and all AC cooled. Only a few steps away from a supermarket and numerous good restaurants. The sunset over the bridge is amazing, well worth the 20 min walk along the riverside to a lovely bar/restaurant. Owner on site and very helpful.

Close Parking on street can be difficult, we were very exceptionally lucky and got a spot outside the door, you need to pay via an app.

Home away from home. A little oasis in the city. Having a pool in July heat was amazing. Gabriella couldn't have been more welcoming, helpful and friendly. Would absolutely recommend.

The staff and people were so nice

This was my favorite place we stayed in Portugal. When I booked it I thought it was a single apartment in an apartment building but it’s actually a small boutique hotel owned by a very kind couple. It is very design forward and comfortable and the pool is amazing. It might seem like a trek with the ferry but it was simple to use and you are dropped off at the door of the time out market and honest greens if you are fiber deficient like we were in Portugal. It was so nice to be out of the hustle of the city when we were exhausted from it everyday. There are great shops and restaurants right out the door. We really liked Carmen’s a natural wine bar two doors down.
