Canavial Terrace@Heart of Funchal

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It is in a great location in the heart of Funchal, everything is within easy walking distance and you have a shopping mall right at your doorstep.

You can hear the neighbours quite easily, so if you are a light sleeper, pack a pair of earplugs.

The location and right next door to a cratbeer pub

The bed waa very hard, too noisy as main road about 1 minute away, bathroom a bitt smelly smelt of mould

I liked the large balcony and apartment was clean.

The traffic and the sound from the traffic light, incessant beeping

The location is amazing, very central. Supermarket nearby. Very clear instructions to find parking but the whole permit thing as described below was stressful.

The property was quite cold (March) and the AC didn’t heat this up very well. There were also 4 pillows but only 2 pillow cases. Did message about this but didn’t hear back until end of the trip. No hooks to hang towels. Quite noisy but accepted this due to central location (used earplugs and was fine). Sofa is very uncomfortable. Parking permit was in the apartment, which at the time was really stressful trying to find parking near the apartment to get in and get parking permit then find the parking for the car.
