Het was een fijn huisje met zwembad in een rustige omgeving!

De schoonmaakster heeft éénmaal aangeklopt (de eerste ochtend na aankomst laat in de avond, toen hebben we bedankt) en de andere keren is er geen schoonmaakster geweest, terwijl dat wel was aangegeven. Ook was het onhandig dat de tourist tax contant moest worden betaald (een ATM zoeken was nogal een gedoe), terwijl dat niet was aangegeven. Het appartement was medium qua hygiëne. Dit gold ook voor het zwembad. Beddengoed en handdoeken waren wel schoon. Er was geen kurkentrekker aanwezig.

Hele fijne vakantie gehad. Verblijf had alles en alles werd aangevuld. Het was schoon en netjes overal. Vriendelijke mensen. Behulpzaam en attent. Fijn zwembad. Omgeving was mooi.

Als tip zou ik een paar verrijdbare parasols bij het zwembad zetten. Er was schaduw door de bomen, maar als je echt alleen schaduw wil dan kom je net wat te kort op bijv de fijne ligbedden. De zitzakken in de schaduw zitten niet zo lekker en daar is juist veel schaduw. Dit is alleen een tip want eigenlijk beviel alles.

Very mixed feelings as we both loved and hated the location. Loved the mountain views from all our windows, saw some stunning sunsets. Closest beach with plenty of free parking is 5 minutes drive away. The apartment is spacious and well equipped.

BUT… from early morning until well in the afternoon there is a noise from sand washing plant next door. If, like us, you do not dig as deep as checking host information on booking.com (who does that?) you will get information about their lovely neighbour only after completing the booking. This info should be written in ENGLISH in “Property information” tab, not hidden in a tab almost no one checks written in Italian. Just before making booking we have to confirm some of the property policies. To be transparent you could simply add a line like “I have read the information about noise.” We felt tricked. Weekend, when the plant was not operational, was 10/10 stay.
