DUOMO LUXURY APARTMENT "Palazzo del Re"

Property is a in great location, host is awesome - very communicative and helpful. The apartment is really modern and was our favorite place - it's located on "Floor 1" which is the 2nd floor, but has an elevator which was an unexpected surprise to get all our luggage up. A/C worked well, bathrooms were spotless and all around amazing experience. Having a washing machine was great!

Great place to stay very close to everything. Nice building and nice decoration. 3 bathrooms made it very convenient for a group of 5. Very clean and full of equipment.

No comment, everything was perfect. I would recommend it for staying in Florence. Very clean especially the bathrooms. Renovated but with an old style.

The proximity and excellent location. Maria the host was phenomenal, responsive, and overall genuine pleasure to meet and talk with. The facilities were all very clean and well maintained.

The sofa bed in the living room while appreciated, was slightly uncomfortable.

Incredible location! Short walk to most things in Florence. We were easily able to stop back at the apartment for a rest, water or bathroom during the day. Beautifully decorated. The owner was very responsive and even responded after we left that we could pick up something my son left at the apartment when we travel back through Florence in a couple of weeks. It was an easy tram ride and short walk from the airport. Also an easy walk to the train station.

The water turned off for the whole building without any notice at 9am on our first morning. That left some of us (3 teenagers, my husband and myself) without a shower to start our first day. Fortunately we had rinsed off the night before after a long day of travel. The owner didn’t have any notice of the water shut off or an estimated time of when the water would be turned back on, which made our full day in Florence less enjoyable since we were stopping back in every couple of hours only to be disappointed that the water was still off. It was restored when we returned from dinner about 7pm. We didn’t have any other trouble with the water. (although we all made sure to be showered before 9am the next day in case it shut off again!) The owner was apologetic about the situation, but didn’t offer a discount for a pretty big inconvenience. We also couldn’t get the stovetop coffee maker to work and there wasn’t coffee provided in the apartment. (This would have been nice after a long day of traveling from the US.)
