Location - nature, view, roads, edge of civilization and room equipment are excellent! Very meditative place.

Had no hot water most of days, few time lost internet connection for short period 10-15 min. Maybe it is not so bad - started cold shower experience and info-detox:)

A one-of-a-kind place!

Just wow! Wonderful aparment with one of the prettiest views I've seen. There are two terraces, one with pool, other one with bathtub and comfortable outdoor seating set and table. Apartment is well-equiped: in kitchen there is anything you need, beds are very comfy, bathrooms are nice. Neighbourhood is quiet and beautiful. I can surely recommend staying in Achilleas Apartments. We were very happy with our room and service, host is kind and helpful. Must visit place!

Fab Holiday

We loved staying here in astratigos, the apartment was spotlessly clean. The view from the balcony was amazing. The pool was lovely, although a little chilly!!! But you soon got used to it! The cleaner was very friendly and all our needs were met. Afrata, the next village is only a short drive away. We really liked Listas Taverna. Excellent food! Afrata beach was really beautiful 😍 we had lots of fun and very relaxing time. Thank you Nikos!

Our only criticism would be some cushions to go on the settee in the living area, which would make it a bit more comfortable. We used the pillows from the bed!!! Apart from that nothing, everything was perfect!!!

Long family stay in July

Spacious apartment on two levels, the kitchen was well equipped, very quite place on the hills above Kolymvari (only 10 minutes drive), marvellous sea view. Excellent communication with the host

Low water pressure (long time to take a shower and fill the Jacuzzi at the same time). A table to dine outside in the large terrace is missing. I suggest to clearly specify that the pool at the ground floor is reserved to one specific apartment, because there is free access to it and the different pools listed in the provided services are misleading

Amazing villa

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights and had the most amazing accommodation experience in Crete. From the beginning, Nikos was extremely friendly, helpful, and always quick to respond. The villa itself is spacious and beautifully decorated. It was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable, the shower was great, and the views were stunning. The swimming pool and terrace were absolutely lovely. The owner provided literally everything you could possibly need for a perfect holiday, we truly felt at home. The area is peaceful and quiet, easy to find via Google Maps, and ideally located: away from the touristy spots but still close to all the beaches. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it. Ευχαριστούμε πάρα πολύ, Νίκο!

Nice villa in a calm little village. Clean and pleasant. Nikos, the host, was very responsive and helpful before and during the stay.

Requires a car. Would recommend checking in during the day because the road between the olive trees is not lit.

Wonderful secluded place with a fantastic view!

Thank you Nikos! Everything was perfect! The view up there is truly amazing WoW. Secluded place with absolute silence if it's what you are looking for. Taverna Kali Kardia is a very nice little restaurant in Afrata nor so far away & there is a mini market right beside it. Another one is in Kolimvari recommended by Nikos : Dyktina, an amazing experience :)

Do not always follow your GPS : follow the signs for Achilleas Villa and your won't end up in a wrong turn lol! You need a car to get around because it is secluded but that's the intention anyways.

It was a fantastic holiday, made all the better with a lovely apartment, with stunning views.

The view from the apartment was fantastic, and Nikos was very kind and left lots of things in the fridge for us, which was very welcome. The furnishings in the apartment were all good, and very comfortable, as were the furniture on the various patios. The apartment has a fantastic aspect and got the sun all day. Nikos arranged for a gas bbq, which was useful. Having the pool on the roof was really nice, however, this wasn't very big and it would have been nice to have had use of the pool on the ground floor.

The property was very clean and well-maintained, there was an excellent outdoor area to the rear with sun loungers, furniture, a small pool and a barbecue. It is really well-placed for visiting local attractions in the area and Afrata beach is in walking distance.

Great holiday in Crete

Everything was great: the location, the apartment, Nikos - our host. And the view from the terrace... it's simply amazing.... you can never get enough of it. Nikos is a fabulous host, he waited us with fresh fruits, vegetables, water, wine, coffee etc. I already miss Crete, Astratigos and Achilleas Villa...

Fantastic stay at a great place

Lovely little village, 20 min walk to a couple of nice Tavernas. Easy drive to a number of beaches. Host was great lots of good information and LOADS of stuff in fridge for the first couple of days.

Good

Niko was great. He met us at the villa and went over all we needed to know about the facility. We also gave us great tips on what to see and do. The local Restraurant was great and especially welcoming. We loved the beach that was only 10 minutes away.

In a Remote Location. We didn’t think there was enough hot water for 2 people. The door to the bathroom by the dining room would not close. It looked like it had a nail preventing it from closing at the bottom. But other than that, we liked everything else.

We loved this place to stay. Beautiful beach close by. To get super market, restaurants, other shops very easy. But you should have a car being there. We travelled to 5 beaches during our stay. My favourite beach was closest spot from the house.

I would say only shower could improve better.

A very nice host who came whenever we needed something. Also nice view, very calm and all in all better than we could have imagined. Also having several pools in different sizes was great and felt really luxurious, we really didn't want to leave the house sometimes:)

The place to go !

The place is perfectly situated: 30min from Chania, 1h from Elafonissi and easily accessible. Amazing view on the sea. The amenities were really enjoyable: the jacuzzi on the terrace is perfect ! Beds were really confortable and the bathrooms very clean. Nikos was our host, he gave us a fridge full of fruits, wine, eggs, wich was really appreciated. He was available 24/24 for us and really helpful !

Great host, really cares about his guests, great contact and hospitality. Quiet and peaceful place with great views from the balcony. Very well equipped room. Good road connection with Chania and quite close to Balos and Falasarna. Truly recommended.

Lekker koel binnen. Schoon en ruim appartement. Goede communicatie. Prachtige locatie. Mooie buitenruimtes. Eten op loopafstand (20 minuten), leuke wandeling.

Matige WiFi ontvangst, weinig keukengerei. Was jammer dat het grote zwembad alleen voor het ene appartement was, boven (ons eigen badje) verdampt het water snel in de zomer.
