Lovely villa in a beautiful location
The villa is in a very peaceful and private location yet only a 20-30 minute (lovely) walk into Gordes for meals or provisions. The villa is beautiful - very authentic but with all the modern necessities. Very comfortable lounge looking out to the lovely pool area. A second living room very easily converts to a third bedroom and has its own ensuite. The owner was very quick in sorting out some minor issues. Very well situated for touring around the Luberon and beyond.
It was not clear on the booking.com website that there is a 500 Euro deposit and an additional 100 Euro cleaning fee. The airconditioning is also only on the ground floor (though there are fans and windows on the two upper floors). The driveway is quite difficult to negotiate in a medium car as it is narrow and unsurfaced. The stairs to the bedrooms are steep and uneven which became a little wearing even though we regularly climb mountains and are fit! There is though a nice bedroom on the ground floor
