About this house rental
This exquisite gem of a house is located on a 1.5 hectare property at the foothill of the historic village of Gordes. A contemporary house - it is built in the region's traditional dry stone construction. Nestled among vineyards, the grounds feature oak trees, landscaped gardens, an olive grove, and a lavender field. The 17x5 meter pool, tanning ledge, and deck make for a picture perfect area to soak in the sun. Multiple outdoor seating areas offer options for enjoying each apéro and the fully outfitted summer kitchen connects to a scenic dining area under the oak trees - with a view of the Luberon valley.
A spacious foyer leads to a Grand Living room w/ a fireplace, a Dining area for 18, and a large, well equipped modern Kitchen. Enjoy the curated blend of French and Asian art, antiques & furniture that decorate the halls. The Main house has 4 bedrooms (each w/ full bathrooms) and air-con in 4. A separate Guesthouse by the pool has its own room and kitchen and is great for families.
The house has a telephone and cable tv, and the rooms, pool, and outdoor dining areas are covered by high-speed fiber internet (>300Mbps). Access to the tennis court across the road is possible on request.

My wife and I stayed here for 9 days in July. Of the many many homes we have stayed in over the years this was our favorite. Due to travel difficulties we were unable to arrive till after midnight. Pauline met us at the property, showed us all we needed to know and supplied us with a generous amount of groceries. Record heat waves swept the area the entire trip. The air conditioning and pool worked as advertised. It was very pleasant even though temps were over 100. Everything you could possible want for cooking was provided. The central location of the property made day trips to see the lavender in Valensole or the runs of Nimes and Arles pleasant. The area is alive with orchards, lavender fields and vineyards. Provence is all you could possibly want. The property has its own lavender, olives, gardens and walking trails to enjoy. Highly recommend this place and if ever back we will stay again. Terre et Lumieres is a wonderful property. The house is spacious and very well equipped, the pool is great for a refreshing dip or to swim a few lengths. For us, the highlight of the property is the wonderful grounds, which are tastefully lit up at night, and which feature a separate “summer kitchen”. We hope to visit again soon!

I read this reviews to ensure that my investment and choice for my family’s vacation will be a good one. You shouldn’t have a single reservation about booking this gorgeous home. It exceeded our expectations in every way. It is comfortable and spacious - allowing two families with different aged children to have their space, but to come together when we wanted. The grounds, the pool and the home are magical. The team that met us were warm, generous, accommodating and responsive answering our random questions (restaurants, shops, markets) almost immediately. I truly couldn’t have asked for more. The home is also perfectly situated to visit many of the towns that make Provence an incredible destination. It is also a 7 min drive to an incredible bakery Patisserie Lyse. Seriously, don’t hesitate. You won’t regret it.
