Kingfisher House

Amazing location, a stones throw away from the high street. Great location to walk to the coastal path too! Lovely house, had everything we needed for our stay, very much a home from home! Beds were very comfy!

Bathroom downstairs could do with a little tlc in places (shower tiles), new bathroom bin as the one in there is very rusty, some of the cupboards in the kitchen smell very damp, may be worth looking into. Apart from this little things, it was fab!

Superb location in the village center, spacious rooms and good kitchen with large fridge and freezer. comfortable couch and good mattress on the beds outside seating area is small but welcome on warm days.

Hygiene was lacking, dog hairs and sand in the carpet, blankets, cushions and under the couch. Some mold present on one of the walls. Living room needs some rearranging to fit 4 persons at the table in a comfortable way. Parking spot is not easy to navigate out of, certainly when the neighbors car is parked close.

no curtains in the bedroom is a massive no no, the light woke you up by 6am every morning, you sinmply must spend a few pounds on proper curtains in the bedrooms. beds very soft but liveable, shower temperature fluctates up and down whilst using.

The closeness to the coastal path, castle, shops etc was perfect. The beds were comfortable. The house has everything required.

We didn't like the position of the house and the outlook. There was a smell of dog and black dog hairs on the furniture cushions and floors. The neighbours were quite noisy at times and parking tight. The bedroom was very light due to just having very light coloured vertical blinds and net curtains. The chest of drawers top was very sticky and so we're some other surfaces. The windows when shut didn't seem to cut out much noise and the second bedroom window unless shut completely did not shut securely and was a security/safety hazard.
