Later in the evening - as bars and terraces open up - the street where the apartment is located gets noisier.

The location was excellent in the historic centre of Porto with all facilities at walking distance. We loved everything. Our host was very kind and helpful. The flat is in a lively area, especially in the evening. As a result, you may experience noise pollution. For us, the noise pollution did not outweigh the benefits of the flat and the service provided by our host. We had a great time and will definitely book this flat again if we go to Porto again.

The apartment was spacious with comfortable furniture and a beautiful bathroom. it’s on a non vehicle street with loads of restaurants and bars a few feet away. There is a full flight of stairs to reach the elevator… so pack light :) We had a repair issue and they were incredibly responsive and had is fixed within a few hours. The owners were fantastic to deal with and clearly are focused on making the guests have a wonderful experience. The location was awesome. One morning we were heading out and heard the bells of Clerigos Tower playing Christmas music. There was a quartet of singers — we enjoyed the rest of the concert and actually met up with them at a nearby cafe. A very special and unexpected memory!

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It’s central location was good for exploring Porto. The elevator really helped after a day of walking up and down Porto’s beautiful streets. The kitchen, though small, was adequate for preparing meals and the large king room/ dining room was great for the four of us.

It is loud at night but the hosts have done a lot to mitigate this - ear plugs, fans, and really good windows and doors. We found it too loud but we were there for exploring during the day - if you want to stay out and enjoy the vibrant night life, this apartment would be great.
