Hana Botan

We had an incredible 5-day stay at Hana Botan. The host, Takeshi, welcomed us and showed all the important features of the house (it’s a traditional Japanese house with delicate tatami floors) and gave a number of recommendations for restaurants, supermarkets and other stuff. The house is very comfortable (if you’re not afraid of steep stairs), spacious (you get the whole house to yourself with two rooms upstairs and the kitchen and bathroom downstairs), well maintained and air-conditioned. It’s also very conveniently located less than 10 minutes away from the train station. I would definitely recommend staying at Hana Botan when you’re in Kyoto.

L’établissement est assez grand pour 2 personnes. Les lits étaient très confortables. Et l’emplacement idéal pour le prix. La communication avec l’hôte était très bien.

Durant la nuit nous entendions beaucoup de bruits qui nous dérangeaient un peu… cela semble être dû à l’isolation (mais c’est un problème fréquent au Japon)

Nos hemos quedado un mes entero en Japón, hemos estado en distintos alojamientos y en distintas ciudades y sin duda Hana Botan fue el mejor de todos. El host fue muy amable, nos explicó todo con tranquilidad. El alojamiento era enorme teniendo en cuenta el tamaño de las casas en Japón. El baño era sin duda la mejor parte.

Si tuviese que decir algo negativo serian las escaleras para acceder al segundo piso, son muy empinadas y hay que tener cuidado para subirlas, tiene barandilla para ir agarrando. Aunque para nosotros no suposo ningún problema.
