About this house rental
Waterfront at its best. A truly amazing location to relax, unwind, reconnect and enjoy all the surrounding area has to offer. Panoramic beach and sea views with an ever changing procession of passing boats and romantic sunsets. So close to the beach you can hear the waves lapping. Privacy assured with no shared facilities or on site owners.

Private access to the all tide swimming beach just steps away with no road or dunes to cross. Relax on the fine white sand beach or swim to the diving pontoon moored in front. Explore hidden bays in a kayak or row boat. Rinse off under the hot outdoor shower when you return.
Located on Tapeka Point beach - just two minutes from historic Russell village with island boat tours, attractions, shops, vineyards and restaurants. Outdoor living is superb with a large furnished deck, privacy screen, sun loungers and BBQ grill.
The living area has high ceilings and a nautical theme with a Cape Cod feel. Views extend through floor level sliding glass doors that open the room onto the deck. Double glazed and air conditioned for year round comfort although this is the "winterless North". Books, magazines and DVD library.
Enjoy a romantic meal at a waterfront restaurant or local vineyard - or pick up a take out and a bottle of wine for the sunset. If you must cook there is a fully equipped granite kitchen with an ice maker, dishwasher and Nespresso machine. Laundry with washer and dryer.
Entertainment includes an Onkyo-Bose home theatre system, 58" TV, Sat TV channels, DVD player, AppleTV and media streaming with outdoor deck speakers. Free high speed fibre WiFi.
Take a walk hand in hand along the beach, discover secluded bays, walk the track to Tapeka Point, explore nearby Kiwi habitat, swim with the dolphins, explore hidden beaches in a kayak, walk around historic Russell, tour the Islands, take the passenger ferry to Paihia, sample wine at two local vineyards. There are so many activity options.

Awesome spot! We came as a couple and would love to return with family and friends. It’s a great location, there’s ceiling fans and aircon for hot nights, and we really liked the zoned sound system, so we could listen to music while enjoying the view on the deck.

Fabulous. Facilities are great nothing missing, spotless and relaxing. The beach so so magical. We would love to come back. We now want to live in Russell! A special thank you to Sheree (I am not sure I have spelt your name right so my apologies). She came immediately when called when we had an issue with TV in bedroom. We hope you were able to get out fishing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this holiday house, what an amazing place! The house was very comfortable, with a fantastic view of the beach from the lounge and dining room. It was great having the kayaks to use, and we were delighted to see dolphins. Thank you.
