About this house rental
Nestled on 6 acres and located directly off Canandaigua’s prestigious West Lake Road is “Birch Lodge.” Cozy, Modern, & Convenient, this rental has it all. Updated in early 2019 and professionally decorated, this rental is perfect for a weekend getaway, wine tasting, or family vacation at the lake. This rental is perfectly located in the middle of the lake and 15 minutes to downtown Canandaigua & Naples. This is a remarkable lake property with lots of charm and character.
This home features (4) bedrooms and (4) full and (2) half baths, sleeping (10) comfortably with queen bunks in the lower level, sleeping (12) in its entirety.
The inside of the Lodge features all knotty pine ceilings and walls. Lots of windows give a bright and airy feel. The property is positioned in the woods allowing beautiful lake views paired with the privacy of the woods.
The first floor features a chef kitchen complete with a Viking Stove & Oven. A dining room offers a large modern farmhouse table for formal dining and hangout area. Connected to the kitchen is a family room with a SMART TV, cable, and WIFI and a sun porch that leads to an outdoor entertaining area. On the main level, we have one bedroom, the Boat Room. This room has a detached full-bath directly next to it.
The second-floor features (3) additional bedrooms all with their own full bathroom. Each bedroom has a walk-in open closet with lots of space for clothing and luggage or a porta-crib if needed.

The lower level of Birch Lodge features another cozy hang-out area complete with couch, Smart TV, Farmhouse dining table, ping pong table, Queen bunkbeds, and half bath. This level walks out to the patio where you can find a beautiful grass area for lawn games and lounging.
A short walk down to the waterfront, features 100 feet of lake front equipped with a full boat house. The boat house features string lights, a half bathroom, refrigerator, microwave, and storage for lake gear. While we don’t allow our guests to use the Pontoon boat parked in our slip, there is room for you to dock your boat while you stay at the Lodge. There are also two SUPs, floating island raft, and Sun Fish sailboat also available for use.
There are a couple outdoor security cameras to monitor the property when we are not there. We also have a dog so if you are extremely allergic, this house is not a good fit.

The property is beautiful and the location is excellent! Meg is amazing and replied instantly to our messages. There were plenty of rooms, beds, blankets, pillows, towels (including very large beach towels). We used the canoes, grill and fire pit. The hill to the dock from the house was a little steep but we all made it and used it as good exercise. I highly recommend Meg’s house!

WOW! This property is absolutely amazing! Stayed from Saturday to Saturday and wished we did not have to leave! The house is incredibly comfortable with so many different areas to relax and have some peace and quiet if you wanted. There was 10 of us in the house and we never felt like we were on top of each other. Meg was more than helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate our group. I brought my brand new sailboat with me and meg was concerned about how much wake there would be on the dock from all the boat traffic, so she just went ahead and had a mooring ball dropped in the water just for me! Top notch move that made me feel very comfortable keeping my boat there. Anything we needed was already in the house

Birch Lodge was perfect for our family reunion as we had my 3 sisters and their husbands, my brother & his wife, my wife & me, and my sister-in-law. Three bedrooms had bathrooms ensuite and a 4th bedroom had a full bathroom immediately adjacent. There was also a half-bath so there was great accessibility for showers, etc.
Birch Lodge is a beautiful complex with a great view of the Canandaigua Lake.
