Azotea de la Catedral

We liked that the host met us at the property, showed us the apartment and provided us with excellent suggestions for visits, walks and dining. Throughout our visit we could text her with questions and she would respond within the hour. We also appreciated the flowers she brought from her garden to adorn the apartment. The apartment is beautiful: clean, well equipped, and in a perfect location right behind the cathedral.

They need to change the check in/out time on booking.com as we couldn't check in til 1630 and then they wanted us to check out at 1100, not 12.00 but quickly agreed to a later check out when I queried this and were apologetic about the late check in, but I think they were expecting check in at 1600 and check out at 1100- mind you these times are also on the info inside the property The terrace can't be used as the steps are very worn so it's dangerous- this is also what the person looking after the property advised when we checked in. There also isn't any furniture up there. None of this spoiled our stay as it is a lovely apartment in a great location and was spotless

Clean. Near restaurants and shops.

The apartment is on the third floor and there is no elevator. It is difficult to bring large luggage up the narrow stairwell or if you have bad knees. There is only one shower stall and it is inside the master bedroom which can be inconvenient. The property is also on a busy narrow street that makes it unsafe if you are to wait for the owner outside.
