Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and shared space like a little oasis. Delicious breakfast with lots of choice. Good location, 2 minutes to bars and restaurants or 10 minutes to Alona beach, but tucked away and quiet. Helpful in booking trips. Definitely recommend. Great value.

The room was huge, clean and the bed super comfortable, plenty of cupboard and storage space and all staff friendly. Nice lamp and sockets next to bed, Location is good to town and beach about 7 mins. Super friendly dog Max

A bit of a bumpy road leading to the property which is dark at night but not really a problem

The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast provided was sufficient and there was warm water for drinking when ever we asked for. The staff provided us umbrellas as it was heavily raining. They also contacted our driver as we were unable to get through to him.

The owner of the property Mr James was rude when we initially contacted him. He would not answer our queries and kept us waiting for long. He would straight away reply that he can't always get to the messages straight away and that we should show more patience. This shows his unwelcoming, unfriendly and laid back attitude. The only excuse the owner had all the time for not clarifying our queries on time was that they are a small place and we should expect only what is expected from a home stay and nothing more. The approach road to the property is very very bad, broken, full of pot holes, slush in rains, dark at night and quiet far away from the main road. Be prepared to lug your own suitcases for quiet a distance when you arrive. The toilet of our triple room lacked basic amenities - like the shower pressure was very low, the mixer in the shower did not work. Photos of the toilet and the showers area itself were not shown in the Booking.com site - thus misleading us. Toiletries were not provided as promised by the owner. There were no duets in the bedroom and only a thin sheet on the bed to cover ourself at night during the stay. There was no electric kettle in the room. One had to go down the stairs to the kitchen to fetch warm water and morning bed tea each time. The wifi did not work during our stay. It was down throughout and nothing could be done about it. Beach was quiet far off and one had to walk on a busy road with no walking path on the side for almost 20 mins. It would be better to stay closer to the beach. Avoid staying in the property definitely basically due to the owners unresponsive attitude and the facilities. There are many hotels at same costs nearby where one should stay but definitely not this one.
