Stone house under Acropolis

The location is excellent, walking distance from all of the major attractions, but on a very quiet, residential street. The rooms have blackout curtains that also cancel street noise so the rooms are very quiet. The hosts are very welcoming and provided some fruit, wine, tea/coffee and more as well as some suggestions for exploring. The house was spotless and it was great for a family. The outdoor area was lovely, with lots of good space to relax after a long day of sightseeing.

The system requires the key stay in the key holder for the electricity to work, and there is only one key. So splitting up to explore becomes tricky, and you must stay home while the washing machine washes. This is a relatively minor issue.

Great place. Clean, private parking, beautiful yard. I stay here every time I am in Athens.

Sofa bed less comfortable for the fifth family member. But other than than, perfect

Location close to Acropolis with many great restaurants nearby, felt safe walking on Fri & Sat night around 9/10 pm. Very clean, wonderful to have clothes washer. Really liked the dad who greeted us!

Electric panel malfunctioned and we were without power intermittently for 18h. That meant no shower in the morning as we had no light or power for hair dryers, no coffee,.....Almost couldn't get our car out of the gate to catch our ship. Also, the fridge didn't work with the apartment and outside power out, so we were afraid to eat our food. I felt like the owner was trying to gaslight us, beyond just skirting responsibility when he said he hired two electricians who found no problem, before 815 am. Dad had even been there the night before to try to fix it for us, got it back on for a few hours. Didn't have the a/c controller until the last day of the stay. Couldn't figure out how to work the oven. Twin bed not comfortable
