Good location and cozy cottage with all amenities needed

The parking was a bit of a per larva to begin with but didn’t let it ruin our stay

Great location. Parking space and garden very helpful.

We parked the car along the wall as implied by the instructions but a neighbour told me to park where it says “vehicles will be clamped” as that is the designated parking space for this property. I took this advice but I would suggest if you wish people to park there that you state it is behind the garden of the property, not the same wall on the left. Would also be useful to have a sign that stated the parking was for the barrel store for assistance. I would also suggest obtaining the services of a handy person if you do not already as a lot of handles, screws and attachments etc. are loose or hanging off, including the toilet seat, and the outside light does not work and the front door dead lock is temperamental as the door is a bit warped, none of which was ideal. Felt a bit damp upstairs and beds were a bit small with very old fashioned linen. Wi-Fi was also intermittent so the tv didn’t work properly when we were home later in the evening.

Location was great. Information well put together. Bread left & eggs + tea bags

Felt like it was in a fairly poor state of repair; quite literally papering over the cracks. It seemed superficially clean, but smelt fusty - just like it needed a deep clean. Windows quite dirty. Heavy furniture/overpowering decor made it feel claustrophobic upstairs. Check out of 9.30am brutal.
