My husband and I loved the property and its hosts, Seneka and his wife. They were attentive and always available, offering helpful advice and support. The house is spacious and immaculately clean. From our balcony, we could listen to the birds and spot monkeys and other wildlife. Our room was generously sized, and we also enjoyed relaxing on the comfortable sofas in the large, open-plan lounge. Each morning, the hosts freshly prepared a lovely breakfast of our choice. Afterwards, we could enjoy a fresh coconut drink from the fruit stall next to the house. The property is just around the corner from the Bahirawakanda Vihara Buddha Statue, and the town is a downhill walk or a short tuk-tuk ride away. We appreciated the peace and quiet, and because we travelled out of season, we had the whole house to ourselves. We are already looking forward to our next stay!
Nothing, everything was exceptional!

This was by far the most up market of all the places we stayed. Stunning garden setting. Host fluent in English and could give us good advice. Bright large room.
Uphill was a daily challenge!

The owner was very welcoming and the property is very clean. It’s away from the bustle of the busy city but close enough to reach the city easily. It was a very tranquil atmosphere in amongst the trees and birds, I really enjoyed my stay here.

Home stay. Clean. Good for a night stay
- pressured for an early check out - average breakfast quality - no staff to help with luggage to take down or up the stairs. Couldn't have asked the sr citizen home owner to do it
