About this house rental
The perfect spot for a family that loves swimming, surfing, relaxing walks and all the great activities a beach vacation has to offer. A few steps and you are on one of the most beautiful beaches in Maine. Public way for beach is located directly across the street and there is access to the back harbor. Back harbor is an excellent place for kayaking and paddle boarding. Covered front porch is a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise. Back deck has plenty of seating and is the perfect spot to grill out after a day at the beach and watch the beautiful sunsets.
This home is well equipped with modern appliances including a dish washer, microwave, five TVs, DVD player, VCR, cable and internet. There is gas grill located on the back deck, an outside shower-cold, and parking for 2 vehicles. It sleeps 8: 2 queens, 1 full, 1 full size pullout and 1 full bath.

Was an excellent stay Sandra was a great host, and property was wonderful across the street from beach could sit on front porch and watch the waves, very comfortable and everything we needed was there.

Despite the oppressive humidity we endured for the first 5 days, I give this place a 5 star based on the owner's attentiveness and the house location.
Pros:

Cons:
House uncomfortable if high humidity otherwise amazing (bring own fans)
Everything is upfront in the listing in terms of the need to bring own sheets/towels and no washer/dryer. I only listed that con because it was very uncomfortable due to the weather. We let the owner know the fans she had were not useful. We went and bought our own which made it doable. Once the humidity dropped it was the perfect house. I wish we had that weather the whole week. Despite that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to be a hop, skip and a jump from the beach.

Sandy was great and available if we needed anything. The house was everything we hoped for. Typically we eat out all the time and try different beaches on our vacations but we cooked in and stayed home the entire trip. Unless we were in search for the perfect lobster roll. We were at the beach everyday multiple times. It’s hard not to be, Sandy has a great spot right across from a public way.
