Lovely, comfortable apartment overlooking the canal with a nice balcony for watching the wildlife (heron and coot). Good communication with a friendly host. It’s in a great location, much quieter than the centre but good selection of restaurants and bars nearby, including Cafe de Reiger if you want a real local bar.
The key to the front door is tricky and requires some lock picking skills.

The house was exactly as shown in the photos. First of all, the location was excellent and the view was beautiful. The beds were very comfortable, and the house was clean. The kitchen utensils and equipment were sufficient for our needs. The host was very warm and welcoming. My only criticism is that although there is a coffee machine in the house, no coffee capsules were provided. It can be quite difficult to find and identify the correct capsules at local stores.

Good location for walking into City centre and to a lot of the sights eg Anne Frank House. Range of delightful restaurants within 10 minutes walk. Spacious, comfortable lounge with lovely view over canal. Well equipped kitchen. Friendly, helpful host.
Lack of sleep! Traffic noise in bedroom was too much for us. Bedroom would benefit from secondary glazing. Lounge on opposite side of building was fine. The water temperature control on the shower was very difficult to regulate - very hot or cold! No hand towels.
