Boutique Residence Leidsesquare Amsterdam

Perfect location for museums and restaurants. Lovely old house and super friendly hosts.

Steep stairs but we were helped with our luggage.

Central location and super friendly host

That I could not stay there a bit longer :-)

The location was super!

Lots of mosquitoes during night, the bed didn’t feel super comfy

We received such a warm welcome and had a really lovely time with the host. The building itself is beautiful and full of character. They are currently renovating parts of the property and even took the time to show us some of the work and explain what they are doing, which made the stay feel very personal. Our room itself was completely finished, beautifully decorated. my wife needed a firmer pillow because of back problems. Within 30 minutes someone was at our door with extra pillows, having actually returned to the property especially to bring them to us. Exceptional service. We were also given a bottle of wine on the house, which was a very nice touch.

The stairs are quite steep but they brought our suitcases up. The street can also be fairly noisy... The host explained that they are already working on additional soundproofing on the inside of the windows, as the original windows cannot simply be replaced because the building is a protected historic monument.
