Seashell Beach Villa

We fell in love with our apartment and did not want to leave. 3 nights are not enough, just book more! Place is very clean, with everything you need, right on the beach. Cindy is a perfect host. Thank you very much for everything. We already miss our holiday in Praslin.

We had an incrediable stay at Seashell Beach Villa and already can’t wait to come back. Cindy was very welcoming, we felt truly like at home. She is the best host and helped us a lot, as it was busy season and we couldn’t find the car to rent. The location is fantastic, just at the beach and what we liked the most is the terrace facing the sea, it was so calm to sit there in the morning and watching the water.

This is the best self catering property I have ever stayed at! Absolutely beautiful location, very clean and comfortable accommodation with everything you could need. Cindy the owner (and also the cleaners!) were incredibly helpful and friendly. In my opinion excellent value for money considering you can literally walk out of the door onto the beach.

Nothing

The host is very friendly and does her utmost best to make you comfortable. We got fresh fruits from her garden. The apartment is spacious and everything is ok. The bed is good, the AC works, quiet location. Most restaurants are only a 5 minute drive away. The host provides a washing service for free, which was very welcome.

Our main issue is the furnishing of the apartment. It simply isnt a cozy place where you want to hang out to read a book or relax. Indoor is dark due to limiting windows, the lights are all fully white and too dim. Cooking is hard and lights are missing in the bathroom but above all: if is nothing cozy. It is so simple to decorate the place with nice lights and furniture as they do in the many restaurants to get that island vibe. Now it was just a place to sleep, nothing more. And there are much cheaper options that give you the same. Apartment: all the basics are there, but given the price we have found better in the past. No coffee machine, no ventilation for cooking, only airconditioning in the bedroom and not in the living or kitchen. Limited towels and only a single sheet on the bed, no adequate bedding. Housekeeping: kind but they turn the AC off when you are gone. Given that there only is 1 AC it takes a long time until the apartment cooled down again when coming home. Windows are left open after cleaning, allowing some local wildlife to enter your room. Location: the view was great, but with the current winds there is no way to relax on the beach or terrace. The sea is not suitable for swimming in this time of the year at least. Now we drove every day to the other side of the island to enjoy the beaches there instead of our own private beach.
