An amazing place with a stunning view to wake up to, perfectly located near the most beautiful places in Normandy. Highly recommended.
An amazing place that feels like an old movie castle. The staff are kind and attentive, the breakfast is generous and delicious

We loved the location and view from the Terrace. Delicious breakfast with so many choices. Amazing grounds and even a friendly potbelly pig to befriend! The staff were really friendly and went out of their way. The decor was stylish, quirky and well thought through.
The beds were very, very soft, with dips in the middle.
The dinner was very underwhelming and too expensive for what it is. There are incredible restaurants just a 15 minute drive away - go there instead.
It’s an old building, so the rooms are loud and the noise carries quite easily from the floor below and next door.

It’s an impressive building and we got the opportunity at dinner to chat to the owner whose English was good. She was lovely and bery informative about the building.
The view is incredible.
There are peacocks on the land and rabbits in the garden in the morning.
The owners dog is also around and is so sweet and friendly.
There’s no tea and coffee making facilities in the room but these facilities are available in the games room so not a big deal.

- the views
- its like having your own chateau for your stay
- the breakfast and other facilities
- to be honest the dinner was not great. Its better tl eat out in a closeby restaurant. It was a bit more like a home cooked meal. Not bad, but compared to the rest not great.

The views were superb from the north facing rooms. Decor was lovely. A wonderfully situated chateau with plenty of nature around.. we were greeted by a wild boar as we drove up to the entrance.. Breakfast was excellent.
Nothing really.. dinner was limited but well cooked and presented.. could have been improved for example with a vegetable garnish.

The property, views and surrounding area are beautiful and full of character. The staff are friendly and the property is great for dogs. A translation app is essential if you don't speak French.

The location and view were lovely.
Got a lovely breakfast from the kind lady working there.
The description of luxury is not matching with the hotel or price we paid. We had been hoping for a lovely chateau experience.
We arrived on a Sunday evening and the evening main dinner on offer had no option, with no other restaurants open either.
The boiler was below our room and when it fired up, was very noisy.
No coffee or tea in the room.
Not told of where hot tub was.

Beautiful property, fantastic view over the Seine, huge and well-kept park, great staff, excellent breakfast. The SPA was spotless. It feels like living in a Manor in the 19th century, surely not a hotel!
Some of the facilities that you would normally expect in a hotel room were in a beautiful common room at the ground floor. This actually adds to the charme of the experience!

The property is a stunning building set in beautiful grounds. It could and should be a very grand place to stay.
The pictures and the reality do not match up. The property is in desperate need of a refurb. It looks nearly derelict from the outside and is not good value for money. We left without staying the night because there were so many unsafe things- our 1 year old picked up broken glass in the gardens, there were pavement slabs coming away, DIY vents had been made, no safety latch’s on the windows, so many things were out of order or broken, windows boarded up. The staff ignored us on two separate occasions and carried on talking on the phone without even looking up. We paid for €250 for the pleasure and had high expectations. I have since spent 2 weeks trying to reach the property and they have ignored all correspondence with myself and booking.com.

A beautiful house and location with stunning views. Lots of walks including one across the Seine - with free river crossing - to the local abbey and village for lunch.
Very dog-friendly which was a big plus
Nothing really; it’s not a hotel so once you accommodate that then you don’t compare it to a mainstream hotel with “ordinary” facilities

The beautiful hotel with a stunning view. Very pieceful. I would say a perfect place for digital detox and quietness. Lovely territory. Great and atmospheric breakfast.
Dinner is quite simple, but still fine.

Everything! Stunning view, beautiful room, exceptional service from the host. Wonderful breakfast.
We were not sure where to go when we arrived, we wondered around for a bit before finding someone to assist us.

We stayed here for one night and loved the large grounds, the incredible views and the food at dinner. The Chateau was able to provide a travel cot and high chair for our baby as well which was much appreciated. We stayed in the central round tower and the room was both beautiful and spacious with an incredibly view out over the valley below.
This is very specific to us, but as it is an old building with parquet floors, our room creaked with even the smallest movement. When we are trying to get a young baby to sleep that was not ideal.

An outstanding property with spectacular river views to match!
The setting is truly idyllic, surrounded by woodlands, pheasants and horses stabled and grazing nearby.
We had the warmest welcome by our lovely host Carine & were looked after so attentively by the utterly charming Therese!
A welcoming cheese plate and drinks on the terrace after a long drive were particularly enjoyed!
Beautiful dining rooms, cosy, well prepared & delicious food with served with care & love.
The bed (we stayed in the Rose room) felt like sleeping on a cloud!
Will certainly return and stay longer than one night as we didn’t want to leave!
Thank you for such a delightful stay!

The location is excellent with beautiful views over the Seine Valley from the rooms and, especially, the terrace. The park is large with lovely lawns and trees providing pleasant walks. The hotel is what you would expect from a 200 year old building, It is charming, a little faded and eccentric. Breakfast on the terrace was a special delight.
There seemned to be only one member of staff on duty at any one time. The lady who greeted us was the receptionist, bellboy, waitress and, amazingly, the chef as well. It was a very unusual arrangement for a 4 star hotel and resulted in poor but enthusiastic service and poor quality evening meals.

Hostess was very welcoming, food was delicious and served beautifully. Views over the Seine were magnificent. A wonderful start to our holiday.
A signpost to the property on the other side of the road would have been helpful.

Chosen for location close to motorway the hotel was easy to find, The setting is beautiful and the building is very attractive. It was easy to park and the hospitable welcome was greatly appreciated, there is a relaxed atmosphere underpinned by professional service, we enjoyed our stay very much. We had dinner and breakfast the following morning on the terrace with a stunning view over the Seine valley. Although close to the motorway it was very tranquil. All the staff were fantastic. The room was spacious, comfortable and the décor and furnishings are interesting, we had a great view.

The house is very special. Its location is amazing, sitting as it does on an escarpment overlooking the surrounding planes. Breakfast was delicious and very well received. An amazing place to visit and enjoy.

We loved it all. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The chateau itself was luxurious, clean and well appointed. A placed filled with rich history and legacy. The host was warm and welcoming. The breakfast spread as beautiful as it was delicious. And the view- the view was out of this world! Would come back every year! And LUNA the resident dog was charming, friendly and the queen of the chateau!

The chateau has a giant old park around, located on a hill with a view over the Seine. Nothing around, just nature. Rooms were spacious, breakfast fantastic, the whole stay was really special.

The Chateau is situated on a bluff above the Seine, so the views are amazing! Great breakfast and a simple but delicious made to order dinner. A wonderful location to be away from the crowds. The owner and the staff were very friendly and helpful!

Location conveniently near to Rouen for our trip to south west France. It was a charming chateau with lots of character, quirky touches in the decorations, gorgeous terrace for breakfast with splendid views of the Seine and situated with lovely grounds.
Very little. Others have commented their room was dirty, ours was spotless. The only thing to improve it would be to have more staff so evening dinner could be served quicker.

This is a very special place - a beautiful old chateau with an incredible view of the Seine from its high perch above that iconic river. The hosts were very kind and engaging and the evening meal was delicious - like eating in someone's home.

We really like the location and the whole surrouding area, you can feel like you are privately visiting some your friends in Chateau. View for river from the room and chateau is breathtaking, especially in the morning. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, staff was really friendly and helpful (but the knowledge of english is not so good). Room and bathroom were very clean and furnished in the style of the chateau. We enjoy the intimacy of the stay, no big rush in the area.
We would recommend to change the concept of the dinner - to have something freshly cooked, possibly from the local ingredients to fulfill the expectations from such place.
