    This hotel doesn’t really stand out in any particular way, but that is to its credit. The check in process was smooth, hotel staff are kind and friendly, the room was compact but efficient, room service was excellent and cleaned my room every 3 days, fresh towels and disposables were provided daily, the bed was comfy, air conditioning worked well, bidet was lovely (though it made me use the toilet for much longer than usual lol), shower/bathtub was good, wifi is reasonably fast (I measured 50mbps down and 100mbps up, more than I expected, though download speed was quite variable, I’m guessing the bandwidth is shared with other guests), the TV had some…interesting things on it if you know what I mean 🥴 (more variety would be good…I’m just kidding…or am I…👀), location was a 4 minute walk away from Tawaramachi station and 12 minutes away from Asakusa station, lots of food options nearby, Senso-Ji and Tokyo Skytree are within walking distance, checking out was incredibly simple (just pop the room card into the express check out box upon exiting the elevator), luggage storage service was nice and easy and I was able to store my luggage on my check in and check out days, like I just don’t have any complaints: everything was great and good value for money. My only negative points would probably be the lack of under bed storage for my luggage and the TV automatically turning on and playing the same videos over and over again until turned off (I’ve memorised the scripts for them all at this point 😭😭😭, the anti terrorism video music went so hard unironically so that was probably my favourite one 😎). It was a very frictionless experience that didn’t require much thought, and I think that is high praise as it allowed my stay in Tokyo to be incredibly frictionless. Overall, staying at the hotel was an enjoyable experience. Thank you so much and I hope to visit again some day!

    (For contect, we have stayed at a few APA, because they are usually clean and an economy stay. I was at one in Osaka just last week) We arrived in Tokyo early so requested our luggage be stored till check in time. Our reservation was checekd and confirmed and baggage stored. On our return it took several attempts and what felt like 'forever' to find the same reservation what was earlier checked for us to be able get our room. We finally came to the room was a little dusty and it really didn't smell fresh. It really smelt musty like the carpet was not cleaned. I called the front desk, he answered in English and I explained amd asked if they had an air purifyer- which i ahve reqyested at other hotels, including APA before. He merely said "There's air spray there use." I wont say he hung up, but the phone got disconnected and he didn't return the call. Next day, we went for breakfast and it was again very sub and the staff (2- a male and a female) there was very abrasive, for lack of a better word and not 'Japanese ervice standard'. They ignored us, even after several attempts to ask a question. The guy didn't bother to listen to our request, he simply assumed we wanted the menu and thats what he brought. Please note that he spoke good enough English and my friend speaks N3-N2 Japanese, so it was not a language barrier. Anyways, I wouldn't go there again.
