The hotel room size was bigger than I expected and there is a small kitchenette in the room as well as a washing machine in the bath area. Plus the hotel is located right smack in Asakusa which makes travelling a lot more convenient. Hotel staff are very friendly as well.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped, and it even came with a washing machine and dryer, which was very convenient. The location is excellent and makes it easy to get around. It is also very close to Don Quijote — just a short walk away. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A washing machine in the room? In Tokyo? Not many hotels with that option. B:Conte felt more like having my own apartment with a full size fridge and a stove top. Spacious and decently furnished, it's also conveniently next to the tourist heavy spots. Even on the top floor we still heard tourists throughout the day, though it wasn't an issue for us. What was an issue however was the employees that seemed intent on breaking into our room while we were still in there. On two occasions! The first occasion was when the cleaning staff knocked on our door in the morning for housecleaning. The housekeeper asked us through the door if we needed it. We both shouted we didn't, twice, yet she entered in anyway. Mind you I was yelling from the toilet which is close to the door. But I figured it was partly my fault for not hanging the "DND" sign. I always made it a point from then on to hang the DND sign. As a test, I also stood outside my room door and could easily hear if someone yelled inside. A washing machine in the room? In Tokyo? The second occasion was while I was undressed and someone knocked on my door. I wasn't expecting anyone but I start walking over to the door and not even five seconds after they knocked a stranger opens my door and makes eye contact with me before quickly closing my door. Was I shocked? Angry? Harassed? A combination of all three. The DND sign was hung up, my door was deadbolted, but what I didn't know was that a staff card disengages the deadbolt and lock at the same time. Making the deadbolt pointless. Comparatively, I went to another Japanese hotel which had a physical latch on the door. A latch that can only be opened from the inside would have at least given me time to react, and for the person opening the door to suspect the guest is still in the room. I immediately confronted the front staff and they explained that a worker was supposed to replace a faulty lightbulb and they went to the wrong floor. I explained that they walked in while I was undressed, and how this was already the second time something like this happened. Had it been my girlfriend undressed instead of me this experience would be borderline sexual harassment. They apologized and provided me free hand soap. It happened on the second to last day of my stay and completely ruined my experience at this hotel. I won't ever come back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone until they at least retrain their staff to have better etiquette and include a physical latch on the inside of the door. The employees at the front desk were helpful when I was checking out and are the only reason my rating isn't lower than it already is.
