Overall, not a happy customer

The breakfast / food was great

1. The room was run down. Electric sockets not working, cub boards were broken. Furniture not very clean. 2. We confirmed check out at 2pm. However, the reception staff started calling us at noon. They should check their records / system. 3. Last stay, we forgot a watch and adapter charger. We were only returned the watch and the adapter/charger went missing

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the Marriott. The room was a really good size and was extremely clean and comfortable. The pool area is lovely with plenty of space for families and for those wishing to swim more seriously. We had a fantastic dinner in The Grill restaurant with excellent service & food and the range on offer at breakfast was superb.

There was a large window between the bathroom and the bedroom - there was a blind to cover it but it was just a bid odd! The pressure from the shower could be better.

Best for short stay!

The room was quite spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was quite good, as well as the pool facilities. There are a few bars and restaurants around the hotel that you can take advantage of.

There were some small details in the room and in the hallway that were not up to the par- e.g. dirty carpet in the hallway, or the chipped and older furniture in the room.

Food is decent but I have stayed here before with my family and it’s not as good as it was. Took too long to check in - the lady at the check in desk was very slow and didn’t charge us the right rate to begin with.

In spite of the AC system, everything else was amazing. Just wish checkin was smoother.

The room was not cooling, I’ve tried smaller rooms in the past and it was way colder. I’m unsure if it’s became the size of the room is bigger but the AC could’ve been stronger. I’d wake up sweaty.

My son was discriminated, i am so angry with the hotel and will never book to stay again.I even wish I checked the reviews before booking.absolutely horrible experiences from clients this year but they just do not care to change. You pay alot of money, yet an almost 15-year-old basketball and football player is not allowed to use the gym facilities. In the UAE, people are encouraged to stay active, all communities have gym facilities and pools for this purpose so it’s difficult to understand why a hotel would have rules that prevent teenagers from accessing such spaces. I even accompanied him personally, taking full responsibility as his parent, but the supervisor still denied him entry. The experience felt unfair, discriminatory, racist and deeply upsetting.Front office must always inform clients upfront about such rules,if they had told me i would not have checked in. The hotel does not care about clients and there is no customer service,supervisor was quick to advise me to check out and process the refund!they should style up we have many options. Why are you even in business? I am extremely disappointed and regret choosing this hotel, especially when there are many options in Abu Dhabi with far much better facilities and a far more accommodating approach.

One of the most beautiful hotels, but unfortunately the reception was one of the worst I’ve experien

I booked a room with a king-size bed and received written confirmation from the hotel through Booking.com. However, upon arrival, the front desk told me only twin beds were available. I showed them the confirmation, but they offered me to either pay extra to upgrade to a suite or accept the twin beds — even though the mistake was clearly on their end. Later, they offered an accessible room with a king bed, which I declined because it wasn’t what I booked and I’m not a person with disabilities. Eventually, the front desk manager canceled another guest’s booking to give me a king-bed room. Although I got the room I wanted, the lack of professionalism and poor customer service made this a disappointing experience. Not what I expected from a confirmed reservation.

Lovely rooms, great breakfast - location is not ideal and you need taxis everywhere.

Lovely rooms, very spacious with balcony. Room had balloons on the first night to celebrate a special occasion

Location, Check in was very slow, pool was closed and the pool close by in AlForsan complex was very poor and run down. Communication difficulties for concierge pick up at airport was stressful due to being unable to call the 24hr desk on arrival.

I found an opened water bottle in my room. There were cigarette marks. Towels smelled bad. Most of the facilities were closed. Despite all this, it is very expensive.
