It's my second visit. I came back for the beautiful location, seclusion, the excellent food and a really hot and therapeutic onsen. I also like being able to meet Japanese guests because the host seems to match us up at meal times. The rooms are spacious and there is a shared room with fridge for drinks and making tea etc. The main host (daughter) is a nice lady.
It is a Japanese guesthouse, so it is cold in the corridors and toilet area. It is fairly old, so not luxurious and the male toilet doesn't smell good. If you are nervous about driving on snow and narrow roads, this is not the place for you.
