Wonderful hidden eco-friendly gem surrounded by nature — we saw the magnificent Motmot, magpie, toucans and much more just within feet of our room— with new and very comfortable rooms. Run by a wonderful local family who’s son, Jose Pablo, speaks perfect English and can answer any questions about the area…and who quickly responds even once you’re out exploring. Wake up to delicious sustainably grown coffee and homemade breakfast with fresh fruit and juice prepared by Jose Pablo and his wonderful parents…and relax on the property set next to a little forest, all within a less-than-one-minute drive to the center of town. There is no other B&B we will ever stay in Monteverde!
It was perfect! The rooms could use a few more hooks, but it’s just perfect.

Jose Pablo is very informative and helpful. He gave us excellent recommendations. He's particularly passionate about coffee and his coffee is excellent 😊 We felt welcomed.
