On the Beach it is....

Staff made arrangement to collect keys around 15h00 and offered that we check out at 16h00. Thanks.

Check in was too late as we arrived at around 10-11am and we had to hang around in Langebaan until book in time. That is a loss of an entire day and inconvenience if you not feeling well or need ablutions. Check in should be adjusted to earlier times.

For me personally, I have found my "happy place". Thank you Langebaan Holiday Accommodation.

Views are magnificent. Paradise Beach is quiet and serene. Secluded Balcony with Braai was a bonus for privacy and night views. Easy access to the beach. Beach area is clean and walk-ways are safe, secure and accessible.

Parking will be a problem for a larger vehicle as you cannot park in front of the garage.

Good, but could have been excellent without the above problems

Apartment was genuinely nice and views excellent

The biggest disappointment was the total lack of equipment in the apartment. Example one small plate - especially the kitchen was very "minimalistic" Heater not working Bath towels exceedingly small especially given the fact that only one set was supplied for 3 nights. We were never informed to bring extra towels and therefore we had to make do with semi wet towels. No bath floor towel issued. The reason given for the towels was that the apartment is self-catering, and therefore no daily towels; in my opinion self-catering usually means that the occupants make their own food which we expected to do anyway. Should the definition include other subjects, the occupants-to-be should be informed accordingly. Also, at this level of accommodation, one would expect some anti-ESKOM precautions eg keep WIFI running through the power cuts especially as this type of thing will never end in SA; it will get worse.

Peaceful tranquility could open the doors and enjoy the view and sound of the ocean from the bed.

Unfortunately, the bed was the only issue. I'm all for a firm bed, but that bed is overboard firm. Slept on the couch the last night. Please consider a mattress pillow to make it a bid more comfortable.

the booking process is not for the faint hearted. it was the only place we had to pat a breakage deposit, which was refunded weeks after our stay but also we had to fill in several forms via email weeks before arriving.

The beachfront was a few steps away Clean apartment and clean beach. Beach not crowded.

Der Aufentahlt war sehr entspannt und angenehm. Die Lage an einem traumhaftenn Strand.

Die Lage der Wohnung war genial. Mit direktem Blick, sogar aus dem Bett, auf den Atlantik. Hoher Sicherheitsstandard, weil innerhalb einer b ewachten Anlage gelegen. Abstand zum Meer keine 50 m.

Die Schlüsselübergabe. Wir konnten den Schlüssel nur bis 19:00 an einer zentralen Stelle abholen.(3-4 km entfernt von der Wohnung). Vor der Anreise wurden wir von der Vermietungsgesellschaft aufgefordert per E-mail , Bankdaten, Autokennzeichen usw. durchzugeben, um eine Sicherheitsleistung von € 50,- für etwaige Schäden zu erbringen. Ansonsten bekämen wir keinen Schlüssel. Das konnten wir dann, nach mehreren emails(während des Urlaubes), bei der Schlüsselübergabe regeln.

Top Unterkunft - mit Nightmare an Verwaltungsaufwand

Tolle Lage, schöne Terrasse direkt über dem Strand, geräumiges Zimmer, komplette Ausstattung, Parkplatz vor dem Haus

Extrem intensive und aufwendige Kommunikation mit dem Verwalter. "Kommunikation hat fast mehr Zeit erfordert, als der Aufenthalt gedauert hat." Habe bei Hunderten von Übernachtungen noch nie vorab eine "breakage Fee" von €50 überweisen müssen. Umständliches Abholen und zurückbringen des Schlüssels bei 5km entferntem Verwalter. Resümee: Top Unterkunft, extrem aufwendiges, unangenehmes, umständliches und völlig ungewöhnliches Drumrum.
