Sunshine Villa

A lovely house in a great location. So easy to walk to the beach, tavernas and shops. The garden was beautiful. We loved lazing in the hammocks and eating outside as the sun went down over the mountains. House was really well equipped

There was only air conditioning in one of the bedrooms( but fans provided and balconies so we managed to)

Υπέροχο σπιτι που τα εχει ολα μέσα σε ενα τεράστιο κτήμα με κούνια για παιδια, αιώρες και ζωάκια. Το σπιτι ειναι πολυ μεγαλο με τρία υπνοδωμάτια και ενα επιπλέον διπλό καναπέ κρεβάτι στο σαλόνι, δύο μπάνια, μεγάλη κουζίνα και βεράντα με έπιπλα καθώς και 3 μπαλκονακια που το ενα βλέπει θάλασσα .παρκινγκ στο χώρο υπάρχει απλετο και ειναι πολυ κοντα σε ολες τις παραλιες του νοτου ( banana baya ,ionio,γερακας,αγιος νικολαος κλπ)Η κυρία Ιωάννα που μας υποδέχτηκε ειναι απλά καταπληκτική και πανέμορφη. Μας κέρασε μια μέρα πρωινό, μας εφερε πιπεριες και συκα απο το κτημα τους .ειχε νερά και καρπούζι στο ψυγείο και λάδι για να μαγειρεύουμε ότι θέλουμε. Με διακριτικοτητα και ευγενεια ηταν δίπλα μας σε ότι χρειάστηκαμε .Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα

Abbiamo passato una vacanza bellissima in questo appartamento a Zante! Fin dal primo messaggio la comunicazione con la proprietaria è stata semplice e veloce: sempre disponibile, gentile e super accogliente. All’arrivo ci ha fatto sentire subito a casa. L’appartamento è curato nei minimi dettagli, pulitissimo, comodo e con tutto il necessario per stare bene: cucina attrezzata, aria condizionata, Wi-Fi, e un terrazzino con una vista spettacolare dove ci siamo goduti colazioni e tramonti da sogno. La zona è tranquilla e panoramica, perfetta per rilassarsi ma anche comoda per raggiungere le spiagge più belle dell’isola. Il paesaggio è davvero mozzafiato, tra mare, natura e silenzio. Siamo davvero grati per l’ospitalità e la gentilezza della proprietaria. Ci siamo sentiti accolti con il cuore. Se torniamo a Zante, sappiamo già dove vogliamo alloggiare!

1. The staff - from Andreas to Ana to Nikos, this is a family run villa who welcome you like you are long lost friends. Nothing is too much for them and they never ever made us feel like we were hassling them if we needed to call them with anything. We also got fresh eggs, tomatoes, some bottles of water and a lovely welcome gift which was so unexpected but a wonderful start to our stay. They are the most thoughtful, considerate and kindest people I have come across and it would be a pleasure to stay there again. 2. The villa itself - absolutely beautiful and looks exactly like the pictures, inside and out. The rooms were clean and equipped with towels, fan/AC, and spare sheets. The bathrooms were really clean and there was hot water available all the time. The kitchen is well equipped and has plenty of plates, cutlery, cups, glassware, dishwasher, oven, two fridges, bins bags, washing up liquid and sponges. A mini crib was also put in for my baby. 3. The area - Vasilikos is beautiful and this property is nearby several beaches which are said to be the most beautiful on the island. I'd highly recommend going to Dafni beach if you have a car. There is a supermarket nearby (although expensive so I'd recommend a big Lidl or AB shop), as well as a car rental company and a restaurant just outside the villa, so everything is really convenient.

1. This isn't the fault of the owners, but without renting a car it's a struggle to get anywhere and a lot of taxis are either reluctant to make their way and the ones who do charge quite a lot for a short journey (around €50 from the airport during the day) 2. This is not a complaint but just a suggestion - some small bins in the bedrooms would have been great as it's a pain to keep getting up to throw things away in the bathroom bin. 3. Also not a complaint but subscription services like Netflix would be great for the family to watch together in the evenings. We were outside so often it didn't matter to us on this trip but it would be nice to stay again and be able to watch as a family as we all live in different countries and do not get to do things like this with our parents
