Loved our week at this beautiful villa
The location was excellent, very close to the centre and right across a big park with a playground. Easy stroll to the bakery for breakfast or any other shops in town. Also close to the local pool. The villa is so spacious, the rooms are huge! Great size beds and a gorgeous terrace with charming views. Excellent star-gazing at night. Very well equipped kitchen with high-quality appliances (Neff and WMF!). Fans in every room (essential in the summer). Original artwork and lots of quirky features all through the villa. We felt very much at home.
Not all the bedrooms have shutters or curtains, so if you have light sleepers, you might struggle with early wake-ups from sunlight streaming in. We would have brought our own black-out curtains had we known. The nearby church bells ring every 15 minutes ALL NIGHT LONG. While this is not a problem with the windows closed (they are very well sound insulated), it might keep you awake if you like your fresh air at night. We stayed during a heat wave with temperatures averaging 33C all week. The two attic rooms became extremely hot (hence the fans). The garden needs a little TLC. None of these downsides would stop us from staying at the villa again!

Great House in a perfect location
Large house with a great kitchen and a lovely garden. The bedrooms are mostly European style twins (two mattresses together). The decor is really nice and tradional. Location couldn't be better, just 50m from a nice bakery and 100m from the town centre. Outside is a large sitting area, perfect for families or groups. Anja the manager is really helpful. She allowed us to park our motorcycles in the garden behind the secure gates.
The beds were a little tricky for an all male party but we coped fine. Everything else was great.
