In the evening, the kids can frolic on the lawn as you barbecue summer favorites on one of the complex's two shared gas grills. Afterward, you can curl up with a good book or watch your favorite movie or TV show.

You won't have much need to drive at Monterey-Gage, because you're already in the heart of the village! Within a couple blocks, you'll find the beach and an assortment of shops and restaurants to peruse. There's also a convenience store right across the street. Public transportation is available, as well, with the train station only a half-mile away and a bus stop right in front of the property (which connects to such local attractions as Oceanside Pier and the Birch Aquarium).
