Minimalistisch eingerichtete saubere Erdgeschoss-Ferienwohnung in einem Apartment-Haus. Kleines, aber schön praktisch eingerichtetes Bad. Kleiner Flur mit Garderobe. Parkplatz im Hof. Lage sehr gut, die Stadt ist sowohl fußläufig, als auch mit Auto/Fahrrad oder ÖPNV schnell zu erreichen. Bushaltestelle direkt vor dem Haus. Es war genügend Platz für 2 Personen, auch mit Sitzgelegenheiten. Die Betten waren bequem. Die Küche ist vollständig in Ordnung für Frühstück und Brotzeit. Die Wohnung ist nicht hellhörig zu den anderen Apartments. Insgesamt eine gute Ferienwohnung.

Von der Küche zum Zimmer gab es zwar einen Türrahmen, aber keine Tür, die Küche ist also offen zum Zimmer. Die Hochstühle in der Küche waren schon etwas wackelig und deshalb unbequem. Besteck und Geschirr sind zum wirklich kochen etwas knapp. Es gibt doppelte Fenster zur Straße. Sie erfüllen ihren Zweck gut. Wenn man sie jedoch zum Lüften öffnet, hat man den kompletten Straßenlärm praktisch im Zimmer. Nachts und frühmorgens kann man deshalb nur schlecht lüften.

Die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet. Man erreicht schnell das Zentrum der Stadt. Auch ist der Parkplatz prima.

In der Küche könnte noch ein kleiner Topf sein. Ansonsten ist alles vorhanden. Das Bad ist sehr schön, jedoch auf dem zweiten Blick darf mehr geputzt werden, zB die Fliesen. Die Duschtür schließt nicht perfekt, so dass davor Wasser ist. Ein Duschvorleger wäre nicht schlecht !

The place was easy to find, had lots of free private parking. Key-collection, check-in etc. was very convenient, communication with hosts straight-forward. Facilities were very clean, though the furniture was a bit worn. Location is a bit off-centre, but Weimar is small, thus still walkable. Very few places of interest around that particular area, but kind of charming. Overall not a bad setup.

All apartments on the premise are non-smoking, however we had an apartment on the ground floor facing the back yard. Right below the window was the smoking areas for all tenants, which was frequented literally all through the day and night. As we kept windows open for cooling, the apartment was constantly filled with cigarette smoke and also smelled – which was less than pleasant. When we asked a smoker at 2am to possibly move elsewhere, we were berated. Also, our apartment had a very peculiar floor plan, which allowed two beds the be aligned only foot-to-foot - which is not a sleeping arrangement we usually choose as a couple. But for other constellations that should be fine.
