Apartments Mateljan 1715

Our spotless, well equipped apartment was reached via flight of stairs from the shared front door. It consisted of a comfortable living / dining room, with an excellently equipped kitchen area, a large separate bedroom and a shower room. The living area opens to the superb furnished terrace where we spent much of our time and gives an uninterrupted view over the bay. The living room offered a comfortable L shaped settee and a flat screen tv and the kitchen had everything needed for an extended stay - oven, hob, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, etc. , while the shower room also contained a washing machine., as well as plenty of free toiletries In the bedroom, the bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of storage for clothes. The air conditioning was very welcome in the hot weather and the wifi was good to excellent in most areas, though there was a small dead zone in part of the bedroom. Our hosts were excellent, guiding us from where the taxi dropped us off (see below) to the apartment and having bottled water cooling in the fridge when we arrived. Overall, we loved the apartment and would be very happy to visit again.

Not the owner's fault but, at the time of writing, Booking.com shows the apartment in the wrong place, about 500m from the actual address. - which is actually in a much better location. Google or Bing maps show its correct position within Kastel Luksic

Die Lage und er Blick auf das Meer waren toll. Die Vermieterung war sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Es war zeitweise fast unmöglich einen Parkplatz zu finden. Alles ist überfüllt und sehr eng. Mussten zum Teil fast 15 Minuten umherfahren, bis man im Dorf etwas gefunden hat. Der Eingang zu Wohnung war in das Dorf und man musste um die Häuserzeile herumlaufen für ins Meer zu gelangen. Installationen im Bad waren zum Teil nicht gut angeschlossen. Waschmaschine hatte einen eigenen Duft... Für das Frühstück musste man eine längere Distanz laufen, bis man ein Café gefunden hat, welches dies auch anbietet.
