Apartment Gialos

It´s not often that you feel immediately at home, but Gialos apartments is one of these places where everything feels right. Just a few steps away from the bustle of Symi´s main drag, this apartment is spacious, well equipped and very welcoming. The veranda, which is not private as there is the odd passer-by, feels totally secluded and boasts an amazing view. Would go back any time!

Symi port is busy during the summer, so expect some noise. It´s part of the appeal to be close to the action, though. As daytrippers from Rhodes start arriving in the morning, a fairly early start is a good idea anyway. The boats to the beaches are nearby.

Ο ιδιοκτήτης μάς παρέλαβε από το λιμάνι, κάτι που έκανε την άφιξή μας ιδιαίτερα εύκολη και ευχάριστη. Το κατάλυμα ήταν υπέροχο, άνετο και διακοσμημένο με ιδιαίτερη φροντίδα, με έμφαση στα χαρακτηριστικά χρώματα και την αισθητική της Σύμης. Βρίσκεται σε εξαιρετική τοποθεσία, σε κοντινή απόσταση από το κέντρο, τα σημαντικότερα αξιοθέατα, καθώς και από εστιατόρια και καφέ. Παρότι διαθέτει κλιματισμό, το κατάλυμα διατηρεί φυσική δροσιά, προσφέροντας ένα ιδιαίτερα ευχάριστο περιβάλλον ακόμη και τις ζεστές ημέρες του καλοκαιριού. Αποτελεί πραγματική όαση χαλάρωσης, με μαγευτική θέα στον κόλπο της Σύμης. Η κουζίνα ήταν πλήρως εξοπλισμένη και διέθετε όλα όσα χρειαζόμασταν για μια άνετη διαμονή. Οι ιδιοκτήτες ήταν εξαιρετικά φιλόξενοι, ευγενικοί και πάντα πρόθυμοι να βοηθήσουν, συμβάλλοντας καθοριστικά στο να απολαύσουμε μια πραγματικά ευχάριστη και αξέχαστη διαμονή.

The location is great shorrt walk from the Sebecco boat and shoett walk to the town, the space outside is super. And the flat was clean and haf all we needed. Good air condition. Good communications with the family and they were very helpfull.

We liked everything.

Fantastic view. Comfortable. Plenty of hot water. We were met at the bottom of the steps with a hand to carry the cases. Beautiful area. Wonderfully traditional.

There was too much noise coming from the owners upstairs, on our last night the noise, I think dragging furniture or chairs on the floor until 1am which kept me awake. My wife slept through it.
