I requested an early check-in and a room on a higher floor before my arrival. The hotel kindly explained that early check-in was subject to availability, and I changed my plan and I arrived at 2:00 PM, the official check-in time. At reception, I was informed that there were no rooms available on a higher floor, so I was given a room on a middle floor instead. I had also paid an additional €25 for a room with a window. Unfortunately, the view wasn’t very appealing, so I ended up keeping the window closed and didn’t get much benefit from the upgrade. On the positive side, there were many things I really appreciated about my stay. The breakfast was diverse, fresh, and very good, with plenty of options to choose from. Most importantly, this is probably the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained, which made a very good impression. I also appreciated the extra touches offered by the hotel, including the complimentary minibar. The foot massage was especially enjoyable, and I would like to give a special mention to Anh, who was very professional, attentive, and skilled. I highly recommend her. Overall, there were some things that could have been better regarding my room requests, but the exceptional cleanliness, good breakfast, complimentary extras, and professional service made my stay enjoyable.

This is our second stay at the Alagon D'antique Hotel & Spa. Excellent location (close to Ben Tahn markets), in district 1 (ease of tour companies pick up/drop-off), wonderful staff, awesome smorgasboard breakfasts plus you can also have lunch or dinner in house. The upstairs pool is refreshing after loads of walking discovering Ho Chi Minh plus you can make use of the awesome staff in the in-house spa. Anyone hear of a complimentary in-house foot massage? We loved it so much we booked a full body massage tomorrow.

The hotel was very nice and centrally located. The breakfast was a big spread. The staff was very nice and friendly. Mr Quan the doorman was very nice and helpful and always there to direct us the correct way, when we asked for directions. There were many restaurants in the area. I enjoyed my stay there and would go back.
