It was a lovely hotel in an ideal location - you could walk to many places of interest. Breakfast was good. When I was unhappy with my room, they changed it to another one without additional charges. Staff were very helpful.
A fresh flower every few days was a nice touch 🌹
Noise levels when your room is by the lift and the basic rooms have little room for a large suitcase.
Even the best rooms should have a walk jn shower room - bath tubs are outdated and not a luxury feature in hot countries! (In my opinion)

The colonial look about the reception and dining area was lovely and the room had a nice view and was clean and well presented. We also appreciated the gift of flowers and a pen which were in the room on arrival
The bar and pool area was a little bit tired and the music played on one of the nights we tried to go was way too loud. The food at the hotel was only average and I think they need to promote the dining room a bit more
