Bien que non compris dans le montant de la location, Joseph nous a déposé tous les matins du pain frais dès 7 heures sur la table de la terrasse exterieure du logement. Il nous a offert dela confiture d'orange faite par lui avec lesvoranges de son jardin ainsi que des oeufs frais de ses poules !

The host, Josef, was very welcoming and friendly. We were greeted with a drink and a chocolate, a bottle of wine was left in the property for us, and fresh bread provided free every morning, and on the first morning a jar of homemade organic marmalade from the property's own oranges. The property itself is a well laid out bungalow with tasteful decoration, modern fittings and all necessary furnishings and household equipment. There are two such bungalows and each has its own outside patio with large table, chairs and sun loungers. There is onsite parking. Josef is clearly a perfectionist, as everything is thoughtfully planned, tastefully done, perfectly tidy and spotlessly clean. The stunningly beautiful beach is 400 m away down a track in front of the house, and the town of Gythio is 4 km away. There is a very good restaurant, Taki's Tavern, serving traditional regional dishes at very reasonable prices, on the beach quite close to the property. The value for money of our stay was excellent.

This is a personal thing but the beach in front of the property, being long and sandy, is not good for snorkelling. However, a 15 minute walk along the beach to the right brings you to the rocks, where there is more undersea life to observe.

A spacious, fully equipped apartment — and if anything is missing, Josef is immediately there to help. The garden is beautifully arranged, and Josef grows organic fruit which he then turns into homemade jam and shares generously with his guests. He even gives you a jar as a farewell gift. In the room, a bottle of wine awaits you, and every morning you’ll find fresh bread in the garden dining area. Here, hospitality meets you at every step. And did I mention the sunbeds and umbrella waiting for you on the nearby beach? All for you — and of exceptional quality. Truly the highest standard.

Nothing to complain about — everything was perfect.

This was our second stay here, and once again we were very happy with our experience. The apartment is comfortable, clean, and equipped with everything you need. The sandy beach is just a few minutes’ walk away, and the nearest village with shops is only a short drive away. A particularly lovely touch is the fresh bread and homemade jam waiting outside the door every morning. It’s a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Thank you for your hospitality, Jozef! We would happily come back again.
