I really love the Casa Mindela Farmhouse- from Litoral I have to divert to Coastal Camino in order to arrive here but the walk and diversion was worth it. The space is stunning. Beautiful Garden and plants. Cute cats. The owner (forgot the name ) and Selena was very lovely and accommodating. The breakfast was lovely as well. Had a very good night sleep as it was quiet place and the morning was beautiful due to the view. I love the swing too.

On a road trip through northern Portugal, we stayed here one night and overall had a very good experience. The staff were gracious, friendly, and thoughtful, and communicated clearly in excellent English. The guesthouse is rustic but clean and comfortable. Our room was spacious yet cozy, with a large bed (two twins pushed together), a small kitchen area, and a couch. I can’t speak for the other four or five rooms—they’re all a bit different—but ours was pleasant and quiet.
There were a couple of minor maintenance issues in the room—nothing major, just small things that could use a little attention. The setting is rural, but nearby suburban sprawl and some light industry take away a bit of the authentic countryside feel. On the plus side, it’s less than a 20-minute drive from the airport, which makes it very convenient for travelers.

If you are looking to have few days away of the city noise, come and stay here. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. It is very quiet and peaceful. Nice historical building with amazing staff.
Breakfast was nice and great to start your day.
