    The rooms are nice with a decent spread of breakfast but the highlight is the staff who are ever so helpful. The only drawback as a tourist is that all the places you would like to visit are at a distance .

    I had placed DO NOT DISTURB sign on my door. I fly professionally so often jet legged and need my sleep to recover. In spite of this so did housekeeping vacuum and hit my door several times while cleaning outside. I turned over going back to sleep. Then they loudly spoke right outside my dote and finally knocked on my door. Not appreciated ! Not a bad hotel at all for the money, but expect that housekeeping wants to clean and go home early. So don’t expect to sleep in. This hotel might look run down on the outside, but it’s kept fairly clean on the inside. I would still recommend it if you’re not looking to sleep much. Bring your own water, 3€ for a very tiny bottle of carbonated water that’s completely flat. Somehow could have been handled better by the receptionist. My recommendation to the hotel management, place one free bottle of water in the room at least that’s fresh.

    After almost seven years of absence in Portugal, I found most hotels expensive. Regardless, TRYP Hotel for its facilities, location and very polite and cooperative staff, is just right for the price.
